Dimora del Campo

Tenia una reservación desde meses antes y al momento de llegar me dieron una habitación que no era la que había reservado, somos dos personas adultas de 70 y 65 anos y nos mandaron al ático teníamos que subir por una escalera tan pequeña que no te cabía ni un pie demasiada angosta para subir ,no tenia ventanas te sentías como si estuvieras en una prision,para colmo tenia el desayuno incluido y ni siquiera era en el hotel me mandaron como a un kilometro de subidas y bajadas y estaba cerrado ,al fin de esta recorrido me dieron un pan y un cafe.

Location situata in posizione eccellente, permette di godere di una vista strepitosa sui "sassi" e di raggiungerli comodamente. La stanza, suite, è ampia e ben arredata, ma va curata in alcuni aspetti: ci sono macchie di umidità in corrispondenza della vasca idromassaggio e, in quest'ultima, abbiamo trovato capelli. Non ci sono porta asciugamani. Il balconcino, provvisto di dissuasori per i piccioni, è sporco del loro guano e i vasi fioriti non ricevono cure al punto da essere secchi. La colazione non è stata servita in struttura, causa covid, ma in un vicino bar convenzionato: caffè e brioche. Personalmente ho prenotato direttamente dal sito e non ho mai ricevuto mail di conferma come indicato. Ho più volte telefonato trovando sempre la segreteria telefonica e non sono stata ricontattata. Ho scritto una prima mail alla quale mi è stato risposto e una seconda per la quale sto ancora aspettando. Una nota positiva è rispetto alla signorina che si occupa dell'accoglienza degli ospiti che ha indicato i parcheggi vicini, ristoranti in cui mangiare e ha dato le indicazioni sulla struttura.

Hotel in posizione centrale con in splendida vista sui sassi di Matera. Completamente ristrutturato! Bellissimo e consigliatissimo!!

We went to this property for 3 nights. The location is excellent, it allows you to visit EVERYTHING on foot without making long journeys, and there are many services in the area, such as supermarkets, take away food and restaurants. The structure is domotized, accessed with a code, which makes it very private and comfortable. The common area is equipped with a kitchen, a fridge and other appliances that can be used without problems. It is a brand new and very clean environment, equipped with every comfort. The breakfast at the outside cafe was delicious. If I ever come back to Matera, I will definitely come back here!

I was passing through Matera for a day, and the Dimora del Campo proved to be in line with the beauty that this city has transmitted. It is a B&B practically in the centre, on a square with various bars, but upon entering, calm, silence and tranquility reign. We were lucky enough to stay in the Suite room, a very spacious room with a small terrace. The view was directly on the stones, precisely on the Sasso Barisano with a view of the Duomo. The spotlessly clean room, the bed with a hard mattress and two pillows each of different types depending on your preferences. The bathroom turned out to be a pleasant surprise, with a Jacuzzi, a super modern shower, and equipped with bubble baths and soap of various essences. The breakfast that the hotel offers at the Camerlingo bar, a short distance away, is also excellent. All this made the stay, even if minimal, truly exceptional! Advise!
