Everything is good about this hotel. Breakfast is the best in my two weeks Italy trip. Just one suggestion: please ask for a shuttle at the parking if you drive to Matera. Otherwise it is hard to walk there with luggage and you will easily lost in similar small roads.

Wunderschönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage am Rande der Sassi , moderne und sehr saubere Zimmer / Räumlichkeiten, Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber IN mit guten Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden .

We stayed two nights in Matera at Fra I Sassi. It was a fantastic hotel in a perfect location in the Sassi. The view from our room’s own terrace was absolutely breathtaking. The room was in a restored cave but modern, beautiful and spotless. The property was peaceful and secure. All the staff were lovely, and breakfast was super. We used the parking and transport service offered by the hotel and it was worth the extra cost. Matera is magical and so is this hotel!

This place is a real gem, frankly a diamond!! Beautiful spaces, amazing breakfast. Friendly and very helpful staff! They are so attentive to details. Will absolutely go back. The views are worth the stay. They have shuttle service to go there as it’s an area where tourists car are not allowed

Sono stata in questa struttura solo una notte,con marito e una coppia di amici, mi riprometto di tornarci e soggiornare un po di più. Sono di una cortesia,professionalità, gentilezza disarmante, tutti e a tutti dico grazie di ❤️. Camere 11 e 12, vista sul Sasso Baresano..spettacolare! Camere spaziose,pulite,con ogni confort.Colazione incredibile, di tutto e tutto ottimo.Ci hanno prenotato garage e navetta, giro turistico con guida e consigliato cosa vedere,cartina alla mano. Ci hanno consigliatodi fare un salto alla Casa Noha per capire cosa ci accingiamo a visitare, è emozionante. Se non avete letto il libro di Levi, Cristo si è fermato a Eboli, leggetelo prima di visitare Matera. Grazie ancora a tutto lo staff.

Excellent stay! The staff was very helpful and helped us with our sightseeing plan, plus they booked us a calessino/tuk tuk for a last minute tour-which was very difficult.The room was amazing, cave like, balcony with the most amazing view.

Location splendida nel pieno del Sasso Baresano. Camere confortevoli, ottima pulizia, ristrutturazione perfetta con raffrescamento autonomo, tv, phono, personale gentilissimo e soprattutto..... un'abbondante e meravigliosa colazione che mi ha lasciato sbalordita perché non è la solita colazione con prodotti industriali. Ogni mattina arrivava del fragrante pane di Matera, sulla tavola una varietà di latticini e salumi del luogo come li trovate solo nella regione. Niente salumi e formaggi affettati industriali, solo salamini e capocolli del luogo veramente squisiti. Oltre a pizze del fornaio, torte, marmellate, cereali, frutta, insomma davvero una bontà. Se tornassi a Matera sicuramente andrei in questa residenza. Voto 10 e lode

La struttura è in una posizione molto centrale e comoda per visitare Matera. Camera ampia e pulita, ambienti comuni curati nei dettagli. Colazione con prodotti del territorio, ottima per varietà e quantità. Desidero esprimere un grande ringraziamento ai proprietari che si sono dimostrati estremamente disponibili nel supportarci in una vacanza non proprio fortunatissima per motivi di salute.
