Un posto favoloso,camere confortevoli e curate ,le grotte sono stete ristrutturate benissimo lasciando anche la parte originale,titolare della struttura disponibile ,preparato come guida .abbiamo vissuto 2 giornate come in un presepe..

Rude manager. Did not acknowledge presence during breakfast and pulled a chair at our table, sat on it to have a long discussion with the next table. So u able to enjoy ( the very limited ) breakfast. No manners.
Bed had ants which may be difficult to avoid i. This setting.

The staff was so nice and friendly (even tho we spoke no Italian). The room was very large and clean, the AC worked well and the area was easily walkable with incredible views just outside your door. Very great access to hiking and town options.

Very nice and comfortable room, centrally located to easily get around Matera. The owner was very kind and helpful, he gave us a map and explained how to get around the city. I recommend everyone to go and see Matera and stay at this property.

I found out about this place on Booking but in the end I booked via phone with Mr. Gianni was immediately a very kind person and proclaimer of his roots, he gave me lots of advice and solutions for our stay. We arrived in the morning giving us the opportunity to check in early and arriving to welcome us was Angela, a girl with a very nice and friendly manner who gave us advice on the day and accompanied us to the room. Small but nice spaces, very comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast, we will definitely return. Thank you very much for everything.

Characteristic structure located a few steps from Piazza San Pietro Caveoso and overlooking the Murgia Materana. The owner Gianni is a very kind person, diligent and passionate in telling the story of Matera, the origin of the b&b and extremely generous with advice on what to visit in the city and its surroundings. The entire structure is created inside the stones, well maintained and pleasantly furnished.
