Dopo aver rimandato 3 volte, finalmente siamo riusciti a venire. La struttura è a 5 minuti a piedi da piazza del sedile, vicino al centro e in poco tempo si scende anche giù nei Sassi. La stanza era veramente bella e confortevole. Buona colazione sia dolce che salata. Vale la pena anche di prenotare la Spa. I gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili, ci hanno dato molti consigli utili e al ritorno ci hanno regalato il pane materano. Veramente buono. Consiglio la struttura, merita.

Ci hanno letteralmente coccolato, dall’entrata in struttura (con parcheggio convenzionato), alla SPA (a pagamento, ma da provare per rilassarsi dopo una escursione) alla colazione che ci hanno preparato in camere perché partendo presto non potevano godere di quella in struttura (tra l’altro ottima con prodotti locali)
5’ dividono la struttura dal centro per cui estremamente comoda per qualsiasi attività (escursioni, mercatini, presepe vicende, negozi e ristoranti)

A unique experience to stay in a cave! Our room was very big and well appointed! We had a separate room with a hot tub! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. We had a very good breakfast every morning. The staff was very helpful!

Ho soggiornato in questa affascinante struttura. La sua posizione è fantastica, nel cuore dei Sassi, ed è raggiungibile comodamente. La camera e il bagno sono pulitissimi, curati nei dettagli e confortevoli. La colazione, con un ricco buffet sia di dolci sia di salati, accontenta tutte le esigenze. Il personale è gentilissimo, professionale e disponibile nel fornire suggerimenti e indicazioni. L’incantevole cornice dei Sassi di Matera, la magica a**osfera della location e l’accoglienza dello staff rendono il soggiorno indimenticabile. Consigliatissimo!!!

Great location in the middle of the sassi. We had the terrace room and loved sitting and people watching in the afternoon with a bottle of wine, and watching the sun go down. Very nice breakfast as well. They were able to help us book parking at local garage making it easy to arrive and leave town.

Very interesting place to stay. Difficult to carry luggage up and down multiple stairs and narrow passages.

Matera is one of the most unbelievable places I have ever visited! Antico was in an incredible location. The room, the staff, the cleanliness and breakfast are all top notch. I can’t wait to stay here again.
