Hotel Amadeos - Matosinhos - Porto

The hotel is tiny, like a guesthouse, and doesn't even qualify as a 3-star hotel. The service was terrible, and they were difficult to communicate with. Given its remote location, I'll probably never book this hotel again.

I quickly found a place to stay in Matozinhos. It was nice that there was a mart and a Burger King nearby. The view of the intersection was nice.

Wonderful air-conditioned room on the eighth floor with a view all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. The room is large, the bed is very comfortable, good pillows, good storage in the large wardrobe, there is a small fridge to keep drinks and other things in, a small table with two seats and a good TV with several news channels. The bathroom is large, bath and shower, bidet and sink. Very good location too, close to the beach and several shops and restaurants just around the corner from the accommodation. The tram into central Porto and the Campanha train station stops right outside the hotel. The area is quiet and safe, a perfect accommodation for those who want to relax on the beach during the day and go into town in the evenings, or just stay in the area and eat at one of the local restaurants.

Very good experience at the hotel. I recommend it
