3 nights on this trip to Mie Prefecture. Breakfast and dinner were provided, steak on the first day, sukiyaki on the second day, and shabu-shabu on the last day. Matsusaka Wagyu is famous as one of the three major Wagyu beefs in Japan. First of all, the taste of meat is a work of art. The inn’s rooms are also quite spacious, with 14 tatami mats. As an inn that is over 100 years old (150 to 200 years old, not sure), it has an old-fashioned charm. All the staff, including the owner, are very friendly.

The tourist information center next to JR Matsuzaka Station introduced me to a restaurant serving delicious Matsuzaka beef. It was a Shimotaya-style wooden building with a 200-year history.
