Great

I had a very comfortable day. My purpose was to go to Sendai to watch a professional baseball game, but I came by car, so I was relatively close to the stadium and had no problems at all. It was close to tourist attractions, and the hot springs and breakfast were excellent, worth more than the price.

Amazing

It feels safer to be in a hotel on the mountain. You can see the sea view. I ordered a lunch box for dinner. I chose this because it was still an epidemic, but I had breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast was very rich and I felt like dinner after eating it. It would be great if you choose to eat in the restaurant as the breakfast is very good. Overall, the food in this hotel was very good.

Although the facilities are a bit old, the service attitude of the staff is very good, and the dinner and breakfast are delicious. In the end, the hotel staff took the initiative to drive us to the cruise terminal, which was very 🙏.

I email the hotel as there are free transportation. No email replied. Call in internationally, no one understood a single English I have said. Had to ask whoever Japanese stranger to help me call the hotel for pick at JR Matsushima station. Bought the room with dinner and breakfast . Had terrible dissatisfaction and disappointment for getting a bento box for an onsen hotel 😤 and it’s not cheap the room. Besides onsen and staff tried really best to accommodate me with not knowing English. Nothing are great about this property even I’m still staying in for the night

I stayed here with a few friends in November. I believed their words, "Please call us when you arrive at Matsushima Kaigan Station. We will come to pick you up right away," so I called them, but we ended up waiting for 20 minutes. The facility is old, and it is inconvenient to go to the annex, as you have to go down the stairs and then take the elevator. The rooms are also very old and shabby. The food we were looking forward to was cold, so it didn't taste as good. To top it off, breakfast is a buffet, but there is a long line. The value for money is terrible.

On the surface it looks good. But when you go inside, it's a building that reminds you of the mid-Showa period. It smelled old. The view from the room was nice, but the windows were dirty, which was disappointing. The TV was small, which was also disappointing. The futon was laid out from the beginning. The bath was quite hot, about 42.43 degrees. I went to bed early and took a walk around Matsushima in the early morning. I left a lot of my breakfast, including the rice, on my hands, which made me wonder if it was for business use. It was cheap with the prefecture resident discount, so I guess it's okay = 3. I probably wouldn't stay here again if there wasn't a prefecture resident discount. But the staff were mostly warm and welcoming!
