Best Hotels near Matsushima, Matsushima

Booked two rooms, so the comments are repeated~ Sendai's Saturday price doubled, which is really scary. Be sure to book early, otherwise there are not many choices and it's super expensive. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Sendai Station, and there is a convenience store two steps away. Walk a little further to JR Aoba-dori Station. If you want to go to Matsushima, this is the starting station with a seat. And there is a beef tongue chain store Zenjiro 5-10 minutes away. The queue is definitely less than Sendai Station and the station front store! It is also close to the pedestrian street Ichibancho and Nagakecho. It is certain that Japanese hotel rooms are small, and it is difficult for two people to sleep on such a small bed. I don't know why, the floor I stayed in smelled a lot of gasoline. The sound insulation in the room is not good, and I can hear people talking in the corridor. The hotel is standard and the price-performance ratio is still good. One thing to mention is that you have to leave the key at the front desk when you leave the hotel, which is a bit strange, and there will be no identity confirmation when you come back to get the key.

The hotel is a kind of 2/3 star Ryokan, the owners are very kind, especially the lady running the hotel, she found somebody to take my luggage upstairs and back down when I was leaving. In fact the elevator is not in use.... BFast was not included in my plan, so I paid extra ,just a few hundred yens , I tried the japanese and the western BFast, both were average . The Ryokan is not new , but rooms are very spacious and they ressemblent more to a japanese flat, comparing with the surface of other hotels' rooms I had in Japan. The room was spotless .. There is also a hot bath at 3rd floor, where I went 2 times, smal but pleasant, I was the only user, at those times. I also had dinner at the hotel, in a nice Japanese style dining room ( where I had BF too ...), the menu is Korean , and had for the first time fried oysters from Matsushima bay.... The room was very quiet at night and I liked this japanese style type of rooms, I think I' d go there again , they also have a good quality/ price rate ...

The location is close to Sendai Station and there is a convenience store right next door, so it is very convenient.

The room is very big, the garden view is very beautiful, and the service attitude is pretty good. Although it is not convenient to travel in the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus that runs once an hour, which is quite good. There are also taxis waiting at the door. I think the biggest strength is that there is a hot spring facility. I thought the price setting was also exquisite. The cost was just under 15,000 yen per person for 1 child and 2 adults, including breakfast. Before making the reservation, I was worried about whether to make a reservation because the room seemed small, but when I actually saw it, the furniture was well arranged and it was easy to use. The abundance of electrical outlets was also helpful. The surrounding area seems to be a factory area, there are a lot of trucks, and smoke is coming out from what looks like a factory, so I wonder if I chose the wrong hotel. However, the service and ideas made up for the negative aspects, and after staying at the hotel, I felt that it was a great hotel. I would also like to stay at another Dormy Inn. Dormy Inn, which is close to the station, has a paid parking lot, but this one, which is far from the station, has free parking. There are some hotels that charge a fee even though they are far from the station, and I don't stay at those hotels (lol).They don't seem to be trying to provide service that is up to date with the times. For breakfast, there were signs introducing Sendai's specialties, so it was easy to understand and I enjoyed the meal. I also like the taste. Some people said it had a strong flavor, but I think the real pleasure of traveling is enjoying the seasonings tailored to the region. Unfortunately, Sasakama was out of stock 30 minutes after breakfast started. I bought some at the station, but I think it would have been better if I had eaten it for breakfast instead of eating it straight out of the bag. The Yonaki Ramen served in the evening was a simple soy sauce ramen that was delicious. It's exciting to eat together at night.

The room is very quiet and clean. It is located on the 7th floor of the main building, facing the street and overlooking the distance. I really like it! ! There is also a convenience store nearby and a famous shop of specialty cherry blossoms is lined up. This time I used sushi Tetsu. The material was fresh and very delicious, but the price is a little tight. . .
