The actual feeling is much much better then the images in the website pages was showing.

The location is good. Only 5 mins from the Dogo station and just beside Dogo Onsen. Room wise is not new, but clean and is still on a physical key system. The toilet has a bathtub and hot and cold water is using two tap scrolling system. I didn’t enjoy my sleep as there was a constant knocking sound at the closet which doesn’t seem to be from next door so it gives me the chills. Else it has its own Onsen and provides you with free sake and sweets. Overall I’ll give a 3.5 / 5 stars.

Nice service and location

The room I stayed in was very clean and tidy. There is a TV, free wifi, the bathroom is very clean, the hardware facilities are first-class, and the service is very good. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

The Dogo Onsen main building is a 30-second walk away, the Dogo Onsen annex is also nearby, and the main shopping street is right in front, so the location was very satisfactory. If you go all the way down, you will find Dogo Park, and I was very satisfied with the hot springs and open-air baths within the ryokan.

Dinner is a very ceremonial Kaiseki cuisine, and breakfast is also Japanese + Western style, which is very rich. You can even see seafood bowls. The hotel is conveniently located. Starting from Matsuyama JR Station, take the city tram all the way to Dogo Onsen Station, and then walk for 10 minutes to arrive. You will pass by the Dogo Onsen shopping street on the way, and shopping is also very convenient. The hotel has first-class service and complete internal facilities. At night, it is a tatami + group bed rest method. It is a cautious consideration for those who are only used to sleeping on Simmons.

Perhaps because it was a private room, everything was great except for the soundproofing. For hot springs, don't go to the old ruins bathhouse next door. You can just use the ones in the hotel. I went to the ruins and it was so bad that I left right away and came back to the hotel and did it again haha. The hotel is clean and much better.

I am satisfied with the hotel service. I think the hotel breakfast scores about 70 points out of 100. Personal opinion. While traveling a lot in Japan, there are many places that are well-suited to Chinese characters and Chinese characters, and this one seems to be like that too.
