Dogo Onsen Yachiyo

As a Japanese hot spring travel enthusiast, I have stayed in more than a dozen hot spring hotels of various sizes with local characteristics, such as Boki, Noboribetsu, Hakone, Bessho, Misasa, Unzen, etc. It is no exaggeration to say that this Yachiyo is the most comfortable one I have ever stayed in. It is different from other old and outdated hot spring hotels. I booked a room with a private bath. The whole hotel, from the entrance to the room, from facilities to services, gives people a sense of luxury beyond 5 stars. This is something I have never experienced in a hot spring hotel. Even if it rained heavily the next morning, it did not affect my mood. I just listened to the sound of rain and drank ice milk in the private bath to have a morning bath, and then went out full of energy after the rain! If I have to say there is any shortcoming, it is that the food can be improved.

The spirit of hospitality was felt everywhere.

It was a very nice room. I made a mistake and booked without meals, so I asked if they could do it somehow (I didn't care about the price), but they said it was impossible because it was on the day. Instead, they introduced me to nearby restaurants and cafeterias. We were two senior women traveling together. The only drawback is that you have to go past the reception desk to get to the large public bath. However, the open-air bath in the room is large, so you can enjoy the bath without going to the large public bath. Mr. Nakai is young, but he is very polite and kind. It's a great inn. I would like to use it again.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The hot spring was also good.

I used it for my boyfriend's birthday. It felt special from the moment we were greeted. You can choose your yukata before you arrive at your room, and you can get the color and size you want to wear. When you enter the room, you will be served tea and sweets, and then you will be given an explanation of the room. Perhaps they realized that it was for his birthday, but they asked if they could help me in any way, which made me very happy. The room was spacious and clean. The open-air bath and large public bath were so clean that I wanted to use them forever. Maybe because all the rooms have open-air baths, the large public bath didn't seem to be in use when I used it. I was able to spend a very relaxing time. I would like to use it again on a special day.

The service was very attentive, and we were assigned a staff member to take care of us. There was a hot spring in the room, and there was also a large public bath, so we were able to enjoy both. We stayed on a Sunday, so it wasn't crowded and we were able to bathe. The food and tableware were also excellent. We would like to stay here again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
