The place to go to try Japanese fine dining, kaiseki. I was grateful for the kaiseki throughout my stay, and the hot springs were clean and nice. Room conditions will vary depending on the price, but overall it seemed like an old facility, but it felt like a really neat model of traditional Japanese lodging. The location is reasonably quiet and close to Dogo Onsen Station.

My husband and I are enjoying a hot spring inn. The facilities were pretty average, the large communal bath that I was looking forward to didn't feel like a hot spring, and the food was average. The scenery was not as good as I expected since it is one of the three oldest springs in Japan. I wonder if the staff responded well. The Dogo Onsen main building, which is a tourist attraction, was being renovated, so it was a shame that the bathhouse was an old public bathhouse, and the surrounding shopping street couldn't feel the atmosphere of a hot spring.

Before evaluating the service, I had the worst feeling of any ryokan I've ever stayed at. Well, it's okay because I'm not going anymore.

It's been a long time since I've been impressed by the service that can carry the car to the parking lot. Breakfast is Japanese food, and all the rice is so delicious that you can replace the rice! I was particularly impressed by the delicious miso soup with clams. There was a simple massager in the room, but it's hard to use because it can't be reclined, so it may not be necessary... The 4 massagers at the entrance to the public bath are the best! It's free too. "I used it every time I went to the bathroom." "The water bath in the sauna was so small that it was difficult to enter." "Is it dangerous for the elderly?" Compared to the size of the hotel, the open-air bath could have been a little bigger. I think.

I hate Mammoth Hotels, but there were so few other people here that I couldn't believe they were accommodating a large number of people, and even when I ate in the private room, I hardly met anyone. What is especially noteworthy is the carefully designed tea room. The quality is so high that you can't believe it's inside a concrete building, and when you ask about it, you'll be convinced that it was made by a craftsman from Kyoto who stayed there for a long time. The inside of the hotel was decorated with Ohara-style decorations, giving it the feel of a high-class inn. However, it's a bit old so it's not shiny, but I was able to really feel the hospitality of the employees. This ryokan changed the impression that it was too big to handle. I will visit again.

I see reviews from people who have been disappointed at various times, but the customer service is intangible. Aside from that, the food is wonderful both on the rabbit and on the corner. Dinner served in the room. All of the course meals are excellent, with a typical Ehime orange aperitif to settle your stomach. Enjoy fresh abalone and Iyo beef. Kamameshi that you can eat freshly cooked in your room. Everything was really delicious.

I stayed overnight and checked out this morning. It's a large hotel with very old buildings and facilities, but the hospitality of the staff makes up for it. However, something very unfortunate happened this morning. The public bath is available until 9:30 am. Cleaning will begin at 9:30. At 9:27 a.m., I was taking a shower alone in the women's public bath when a woman who seemed to be a cleaning staff came to me and said, "Cleaning has already started. The staff will be coming in soon." I was. The clock in the public bath she pointed to was 9:27. This was **, so I left immediately without even thinking about arguing, "There will be three more minutes." But why couldn't she wait three minutes? Of course, if I was still in the public bath at 9:30, I should be blamed. But. With 3 minutes, I was able to soak in the bathtub, wipe my body, put on a yukata and leave the public bath. It was only three minutes, but it was enough to make me think, "I never want to stay at Dogokan again."
