Best accommodations in Ullswater Lake area! Julie runs a fabulous, small, quiet, clean and well-appointed establishment. The room was lovely with modern, high quality furnishings and ensuite bathroom. The craftsmanship was evident and a reflection of the money and pride put into Ullswater View. The breakfast was exceptional with a nice selection of choices. Artfully done dining area. Chocolates on fluffy pillows! Right near the lake with a few close trails nearby. Exceptional stay! We were thrilled to be there and you will be, too!

We found a diamond here in choosing the Ullswater View. Plenty of pre arrival contact with Julie and a very warm welcome. No fuss and a quick tour and we were at home. The room was very comfortable and clean, excellent shower and quality towels. Loved the honesty bar, great place to relax after a days touring The Lakes. With Pooley Bridge just up the road, there are plenty of choices to dine nearby. Really enjoyed the terrace, to be able to sit and read. The breakfast was 5 Star, the toast made from freshly homemade bread (the fruit loaf a must) and as for the Eggs Benedict, I fell in love with that the 1st morning and had it twice moor. We felt so comfortable that, we really deal feel at home, coming and going as we pleased, everything we could have needed was there for us. Thank you Julie and your Staff for having us, will love to come back soon.

We had a very good stay in room 'WATENDLATH'. We think this gives good value for money as well and we rate this 8/10 and with 9/10 for the breakfast. The staff at breakfast give an excellent start to the day. Very modern and interesting furnishings. Lovely comfortable bed as well.

Honestly cannot fault this hotel at all! We were greeted with a smile by Julie, who explained everything including local places to eat that evening. Our room was absolutely spotless and had the comfiest bed ever with amazing views. Staff were friendly, breakfast is fantastic and the location of the hotel is just perfect. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back x

We had a 2 night stay in a beautiful room with everything you need. Fantastic view. Bed was very comfy especially after a long day walking. Breakfast was one of the best we have had and we have travelled a lot. I would most definitely stay here again.

My husband booked two nights at Ullswater View for my 50th birthday. The room was nice with a great view, but a couple of things were disappointing. The chocolates on the bed were a lovely touch but we thought we'd get them on the 2nd night as well. Surprised that the biscuits were not replenished on day two and also the shower gel. We were staying in the room with a whirlpool bath so had used some of the shower gel in that so had no shower gel for the second day. Breakfast was tasty but we were surprised that there was no buffet of cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc and rather everything was brought to you. Wondered if this was an old covid rule? It was a bit odd to be brought a bowl of cereal from the kitchen and for them, time consuming I imagine. Overall an enjoyable stay but it could be better.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay here New Years weekend Nothing is too much trouble. Comfiest bed, excellent breakfast and stunning views. Just be aware...*********** allow you to book pay at hotel and then try to take payment a week before arrival. If unpaid *********** cancel your reservation. This is not down to the guest house at all. Just contact the guest house direct to resecure your booking or book direct. Definitely recommend this accommdation.

We’ve just spent a fabulous weekend with Julie and her team and a bunch of friends and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts are individually prepared and are delicious with plenty of choice on the menu. The whole of the venue is absolutely spotless and the rooms are spacious with such comfortable beds. It’s been a joy to spend the weekend there!

What a wonderful location. We stayed for a weekend with a group of friends and had a fabulous stay. So impressed by Julie’s attention to detail. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was scrumptious….…Better than many hotel buffets! A very comfortable and enjoyable experience.
