Great Stay hotel staff was amazing, and the hotel was clean, and I felt safe during my stay. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family. Matthews had a lot of things to do during our stay. I had an issue with my TV and Ms.Freda helped me to fix the issue. Thanks again

I have been staying at this particular hotel for over 3 years and have not had any issues with staying there at all. The staff are friendly and professional and anytime I’ve needed help they have always helped. I only stay at the Matthews location because it’s not far from where family lives and there’s a few staff members that have been there since I’ve been coming. So much so that they know me by my first name. I won’t put there names here, all I’m saying is it’s a very affordable, clean, quiet and I know I said affordable, but it’s true. Well worth the $ and I’m going back in May 2024. I’ve stayed there every other month for over 3 years

1st time at Extended Stay. Had great potential loved the room layout and amenities (employees were VERY friendly) but...
1. Fleas on the bed (was bit several times)
2. Cleaning lady didn't clean the shower
3. Floor was dirty
4. Wokeup 2am with garbage pickup outside
5. Had to walk thru smoking areas to get into bldg (felt unsafe)
6. Mattress was cheap
7. Upon walking into the room I was overtaken by the smell of bleach. I opened the window and left. When i returned late in the evening the smell wasn't as overwhelming enough to speak to the front desk.
I don't usually give reviews, life isn't perfect. But I'm 65yo, I've traveled quite a bit with my contractor husband. I really liked the kitchenette, bathroom, furniture, made it feel like "home". With some tweaks it would be a place I'd choose again over more pricey hotels. Thanks for listening and Happy Holidays!

I was surprised by the upcharge for pets as not included on ******* booking. Also had to request plates, cups and coffee maker from front desk as opposed to being available in room. Front desk in morning was super friendly but breakfast was granolas bars and instant oatmeal.
