Very nice and staff very welcoming

The room is beautiful, the environment is very good, the service is also good, and the meals are rich. worth a visit

Same as above, the room type is not suitable, and it ends up being frustrating. During my ten days in Mauritius this time, I had the worst experience at the Long Beach Hotel. I can even say that the island of Mauritius is not particularly welcoming to Chinese people. This is much worse than the Maldives, Bali, and Phuket. Finally, Long Beach Hotel and all the hotels in its group will definitely no longer be my choice, and I will also advise all my friends not to go.

The hotel is old, the service can't keep up, and the overall cost performance is average

Friendly for vacation

Just back after a two week stay at Long Beach. Long travel time to get there from Manchester/Dubai/Mauritius, but ell worth the travel. Beautiful hotel and grounds. All staff very helpful and always smiling. We had a beach front superior room built in a block of eight right on the beach. Very spacious room and very large bathroom with two full walls of wardrobes, bath separate shower and toilet cubicle.also a large balcony with table and chairs and a large daybed. We tried out all the restaurants as well as the buffet restaurant. The food and service were excellent in all of them.our favourite member of staff was Anastasia who served us in the Buffett restaurant for our breakfast daily.she remembered from the first day our drinks requirements and was always very attentive each day. The pool areas are very clean with lots of sun beds or day beds always available, you don't need to be up at 5.30 adding towels always somewhere to sit. Same at the beach. The sand is good but there is a lot of coral in places, sea shoes are recommended. If you require drinks or food at the beach there are little call points near the sun beds, just press and someone will come for your order. Our usual man who came was called Godspeed, i hope iv got this right from his name badge. I think this has been the most relaxing holiday i have ever been on. Didn’t want to leave. As a family we would recommend this hotel, hopefully sometime in the future, we may return. Thank you to all the staff who made this possible. Dean,Steven & Kyran.

Everyone was friendly and caring, we loved every minute .. thank you to Rositah at the concierge for assisting with every request and booking all our dinners and for making my dad and my birthday so memorable.. to raj and yoursesh at tides for the great conversation.. to Marie, you stole my daughters heart with your care and kindness .. to yusrah and ritesh in Sappori .. to boulouh, jimmy and Charles to everything you did for us around the pool deck, you knew our orders so well you brought these without us even asking .. to Elinna for the wonderful pancakes we had daily and most importantly sister jany for caring for my kids when they were sick .. and then to girish at hasu for making my birthday special!

My daughter and I had a great mid-week break at Long Beach Hotel in Mauritius this winter. The staff were amazing, special mention to Anastasia and Celine who went out of their way in the morning to spoil us over breakfast. And to Leticia who looked after my teen and even took time out of her busy day to do a beautiful henna piece on my daughter’s arm. Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our stay such a pleasure!

Very good hotel. Excellent beach. Wonderfull staff. Yudish waiter is like your brother. I hope so I come back there. Weather is very good. Rooms are not so good but the hotel is like for your dreams.Teamputure is around 25. Also in the Ocean you can see many amazing fish.

We stayed at Long Beach 9th July 2022. This was our 4th visit to this hotel. We have always liked Long Beach for its perfect beach setting, multiple pools, great restaurants and friendly relaxed staff. The problem we find now is this hotel has not upgraded the bedrooms or restaurants, anything really since our first visit in 2014. It’s very dated, and overall a bit dirty and in need of complete refurbishment to be honest. There are a few changes, but with my keen eye it’s just some small managerial changes to pretend a space is now a new experience. Not good enough in this World if luxury is what you’re looking for. Also, considering it was our 4th stay any normal 5* resort hotel would recognise that loyalty and perhaps offer a well located room or at least remember us considering the money we have spent here. Instead they put us in a room next door to a working construction site? We did ask to be moved somewhere quieter which was immediately acted on, but our first impression returning was a bad one. The staff at guest relations to be honest are a bit… rude. Food is good, the buffet restaurant Le March is usually just too chaotic for a couple to enjoy. The other restaurants are all ok as well but that’s it. It’s just all a bit canteen restaurant for us which family’s with young children just take over and forget that other guests were actually looking to relax. The Spa is still one of the best we have stayed at the treatments and therapist are all extremely professional, it’s a very nice private area to enjoy and get away from everyone else. It’s usually empty. My biggest problem with this hotel is it’s extremely confused as to what clientele it’s trying to attract. It seems to be everyone, family’s, couples, honeymooners, anniversary’s, sporty 21’s. The problem is exactly that, that type of strategy doesn’t work. Most couples don’t want to spend every mealtime in restaurants surrounded by screaming children. Nor the pool or beach. It’s not what was advertised. Although there is an adult pool and an adult restaurant, it’s just overall this hotel is really confused. We can’t spend every night in a resort that big in one restaurant. It’s a shame because we have always enjoyed our stay at Long Beach and simply love Mauritius, however nearby hotels have caught up and are in another class of 5* competing with Asia, Dubai, Maldives which is what is now expected for any luxury World traveller. If someone provides what I want, I will pay for it. The staff are overall very good and friendly. Most of them have worked here for years, which usually means great service and loyalty. But I feel they are all a bit tired of doing the same thing and need some kind of a boost. Come on management, do your staff feedback and act on it. If this hotel has a full refurbishment to a high standard, a rebrand and increase the charge to reflect the new services we would return. If not, I assume it is happy hosting for the middle range tourist budget.

Excellent service and well presented. Specially to Mr Ramtohul Chundhunsing The best guest Service. It was my second time at Long Beach Resort. Very rarely do you see waiters who care for you like family. Snorkeling for the first time was Superb and Fantastic. It's a great place for enjoyment and celebration. I'm sure I will come back again...

We came here after a terrible experience at raddison Blue, and from the entrance and reception, you can see it is world's apart and how a proper resort should be. The initial greeting was welcoming when we arrived. The room was spacious and well thought out, We knew we chose the right resort to stay in. Food; we mainly dined in le marche, which was a buffet, but every night there was different cuisines, and the food was excellent with a wide choice of options. We tried 2 ala carte sapori, which was Italian and chopstix, otherwise there's was tides for lunch and a beach hut for bento and powki bowl meals. Chopstix was chinese and was delicious and reminded me of Thai food. Sapori was a little dissapoining due to the service being slow and food not tasting quite average. The food at all other places were however, great! Spa: This was very relaxing, we had several treatments and used the hamam, and it was well worth it! I think pricing could be more competitive, but my wife said it was worth it, so I took her word for it. Service: This was very good, except when I visited sapori, as I mentioned. Sometimes, I feel the waiters could have been a little more attentive. I had to wait over 10 minutes or longer to get served even when the bar was empty and they were just chatting to themselves, I ended up leaving to go to pool bar area where service was quicker. Activities; The gym area was ok, I went a few times during the stay. The equipment was old and quite a few machines were broken or didn't work properly. There were other options to play table tennis, tennis, wall climbing ad football which I took part in most of the activities. One of the main negatives I have is there are alot of ants and some cockroaches which I noticed around the resort and in our room. We luckily took insect repellent spray down, after using that we had far less ants in our room. There were quite a few ants in the main buffet, however, on some tables, which needs to be resolved. Overall, the resort is amazing. Just a few minor details to improve, such as service, the gym, and the bug situation, would make it 5 stars for me.

My family and I have visited Long Beach multiple times and each time, we are still amazed by this place. We have fallen in love with the beautiful architecture and scenery, and the people here are so friendly. Our favorite spot is the pool area where my kids can't get enough of the fun. We have always had a great experience here, and Mr. Keshna's kindness and hospitality make it even more enjoyable. Thank you, Mr. Keshna, for the upgrade and for making our stay so wonderful. We can't wait to come back again!

The best service I have experienced by far - incredible! An unbelievable Resort! ————————- The infinity Pool & the beach were amazing. The food astonishing good. The weather because of the „Winter Season“ not always the best. ————————- Especially my guys, Anish, Jovanni & Vick made every evening at the bar very special.
