Hotel Maxdorfer Hof

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße in einem älteren Haus. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad wurde offensichtlich versucht, laienhaft zu renovieren: alte Duschwanne mit Vorhang! Der Renovierungsschutz war noch an der Wand. Es gab keinen Fön. Die Bettwäsche war synthetisch und hatte viele gezogene Fäden. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert, schon gar nicht für diesen Preis!

Der Standort und die Zimmer sind für mich praktisch und gut erreichbar.

Bij aankomst niemand aanwezig. Na bellen en wachten kregen we een kamer op de t****e verdieping. Verschrikkelijk warm en geen airco. Niet echt een hotel. Meer een woning met kamers. Ik zou er nooit weer heen gaan.

I booked a single room through ************ and regretted paying in advance. When I was there at 6 p.m., the door was closed, reachable by phone but overbooked, no room available, he got me another single room 7km away for €10 more. To date I have not received the refund, although it is only €44 plus €10. Nobody can be reached by email or phone or has to check... tztztz... and ************ can't do anything either. For me this is a clear FRAUD!!!

Maxdorfer Hof advertises new, modern rooms on its own website. Presents itself as a hotel garni. Unfortunately, the positive appearance is a complete lie. Hotel entrance is locked, hotel sign dirty and covered with cobwebs. A handwritten note with a cell phone number hangs on the door. After the call, the main entrance door is opened manually and you go up a steep staircase to the first floor. Old corridor, at the end there is a fridge with moldy cheese inside?! The key is on the room door. The room is thrown together from old furniture. There is only one bedside table with a lamp without a lightbulb, the other bedside table is an old chair. The wardrobe is missing a door, the cable from the TV hangs from the wall, the smoke detector was not installed but is in the wardrobe. In the closet you will find old metal hangers (you actually only know them from cleaning!). The bathroom has only a small lamp above the mirror, Kleenexbox is empty, shower tiles and fittings are moldy and the drain was dirty. Another room was offered after a complaint over the phone. There was no toilet seat, no shower curtain, no fire alarm and overall the room was not finished with the renovation. The owner didn't show up and the son could only be reached by phone. No price reduction! The only positive thing was that the room faced the parking lot and it was easy to sleep at night. You could sleep with the windows open without any problems. Unfortunately, one is still deceived by pictures on the Internet!
