We only stayed for one night but it was memorable for many reasons. The hosts Vanessa and Matthew were attentive and really interesting, and their details about the history of the house were fascinating. Vanessa prepared us a Table d’Hôte celebration meal for our anniversary, and the setting could not have been better - crisp linen napkins, crystal glasses, and a meal of local delicacies. The guided visits which Matthew and Vanessa offer, to local historical sites , gardens or other specialities sound tremendous and I would recommend that you look at their web site to see what is on offer....you won't be disappointed.

We wish it could have been longer but as "locals", from the nearby countryside, our birthday get-away in our nearest largish town was absolutely lovely. Charming hosts, the warmest of welcomes and excellent, faultless accommodation and ambiance. We all enjoyed a delicious and relaxed dinner together; it seemed like we'd known each other for years. Can't recommend more highly.

Bel hôtel historique du 18° située dans le centre de Mayenne sur une belle place. Jardin, terrasse, hangar pour vélos : tout ça au top.. Merveilleux accueil de Matt et Vanessa. Très belle chambre aménagée avec goût et en complète harmonie avec le bâtiment. Lit très confortable. Fauteuil idem. Petit-déjeuner avec bons produits (pain et viennoiserie) et des confitures maison. Merveilleux décor de la salle du petit-déjeuner.

Nous avions une très belle chambre confortable avec salle de bain. Nous avons très bien dormi. Les hôtes étaient aux petits soins et nous ont donné plein d'idées de découvertes. Matthiew est passionné d'histoire et connaît tout sur les batailles locales, Vanessa est très accueillante et chaleureuse. Un très bon séjour.
