The Torres Mazatlán complex are condominiums for rent. It has spacious rooms, a swimming pool, two jacuzzis, a slide, a restaurant (food not included), a convenience store and extensive recreation facilities. The place is basically to rest. There are strict restrictions on noise and cleanliness, a regulation that must be followed which generates order. It also has parking and a security booth.

The restaurant staff were topnotch. The manager and check in not so much. We had one simple request not the first floor as that is more suspectable to bugs. Front desk assured us since there were no other options available that they would do an extra close inspection. At 4:15 pm when the room was ready we walked in and within 20 seconds a huge cockroach scampered by. I took a picture and brought it to the front desk. The manager said well we are a tropical destination. That should be expected. 28 years coming to Mazatlan, this was the second cockroach we have seen. The first was in Torres as well. They moved us to a higher floor which was not available before. I guess I do not believe they told the truth to begin with. Later that night they sprayed what maintenance called diesel fuel throughout the entire property causing a white stinky cloud that lasted 20 minutes. I really hate to complain as so much of our stay was enjoyable. I just think they were not honest as the hotel seemed only half full In the future it would have been much better just to put us off the ground floor. Just a suggestion.
