Abbiamo soggiornato al Caparena l'ultima settimana di aprile, l'hotel è curato nei minimi dettagli, stanze ampie e ben pulite. Accesso diretto alla spiaggia con possibilità di prendere lettini ed ombrelloni. Menzione speciale al ristorante, cibo davvero ottimo dalla colazione alla cena. Un ringraziamento particolare al maitre Fabrizio e tutto il suo staff, tutti sempre molto gentili e disponibili. Da nominare sicuramente lo Chef che si è adoperato in tutti i modi per soddisfare l'esigenze del piccolo di 1 anno, preparando dei piatti fuori menù appositamente. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Yes the hotel is dated - but everything else over compensates ! The hotel is genuine beach side with a lovely beach area and pool area for guests. Tranquil garden setting that is so relaxing. Every room has their own garden or balcony and rooms are spacious. The staff were amazing ! The free shuttle to Taormina at all hours is so handy

L’hotel è proprio sulla spiaggia di Caparena. Molto comodo il servizio navetta che fa da spola fino al centro di Taormina fino a tarda ora. Molto bella la parte esterna dell’hotel, molto bene curata: giardino, spiaggia e zona piscina. Da rivedere le camere: noi avevamo due camere a piano terra, piuttosto obsolete: io investirei in un minimo di restailing. Nel complesso esperienza molto soddisfacente

Ottima esperienza. Personale molto gentile ed efficiente. Prima colazione piuttosto ricca. Camera grande. Servizio di pulizia ottimo. Spiaggia privata e parcheggio completano bene questo albergo. Unica pecca il Wi-Fi in camera al piano terra molto debole e l’impossibilità di ricevere o fare telefonate dal cellulare. Comunque ottimo albergo

Jolie hôtel hôtel en bord de plage idéal pour des visites de Taormina ou l’Etna. Le restaurant est également agréable. Beaucoup de services, plage, piscine, navette jusqu’au village de taormina. Le service et le personnel est agréable. Bien sûr quelques petits défauts, la voie ferrée et peut être finalement un peu de manque de charme mais cela reste un bon endroit.

Fuimos con mi marido y mi hijo por lo que pedimos habitación triple, la que era realmente amplia, en un primer piso con vista al jardín y al cerrar las ventanas quedaba completamente insonorizada. La cama muy cómoda, el baño con tina y todos los amenities posibles. Frigobar completo y buen closet. El personas fue realmente amable en todos los sectores del hotel. Cuenta con playa privada y salvavidas. Las reposeras y toldos son de uso gratuito para los huéspedes del hotel. Arriendan toallas de baño en caso de ser necesario. Hay una van del hotel que sale y vuelve en horarios específicos hacia y desde el centro de Taormina, por lo que no es necesario arrendar auto o pagar taxi. Un lugar para volver!

We were very excited to stay in Caparena hotel before we arrived. The hotel seemed very nice in the pictures. The reality was something else. For a room that's over 200€ / night, it was a huge disappointment. The room was very outdated. The air conditioner was either non-existing or too cold. The main source of light was broken. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom flodded when taking a shower and it looked like a hospital bathroom. There was no view from the room and it was really dark. The hotel itself was pretty okay and well managed, especially the outdoors. However we were a bit amazed about the quality of the beach bar, with no table service and salads served from take-away bowls. We chose not to dine at the hotel because of this. However we did go for a drink and dessert to the hotel restaurant later and were greeted with arrogance and no desire to serve us. The waiters weren't friendly and ignored us most of the time. Breakfast was pretty sad for this level of hotel, with not too many options.
We were prepared to give all this feedback on spot, but nobody cared or asked how we've enjoyed our stay, not even at the check out. The hospitality wasn't there. Only positive things were the private beach and free shuttle service to Taormina.
By far the most underwhelming hotel experience we've had in Sicily, wouldn't recommend with these prices unfortunately.
