Did not get the room i booked. My friend had to pay extra for a disabled room! Not okay after I spoke with owner/manager day of booking. Won’t use again.

The pictures on the site do NOT in any way reflect the reality of the conditions the hotel is currently in! There is no water in the pool, the hot tub is covered, there is NOT a pool table or arcade games and the hotel has a terrible odor. The room was very dirty, bugs in the corners, and in the area where the mini fridge was supposed to be located. The jet tub was so gross there was no way I would consider using it or the shower. If I could have gotten a refund and wasn't so exhausted there is no way I would have stayed. I feel completely cheated due to the false advertisement and false reviews!! I spent 150.00 for a room that was crap, the mattress was horrible and the bedding old and ultra thin. The parking area is dirty and dark, no security lights in an area of town that is not super safe at night.

Checking was easy. Sure, it’s an outdated building. The room we were in was recently painted. Looked sharp. Quiet even though we had a room next to the “Court yard”. Very impressed with the updates that were done. Will be staying again.

We arrived a day early and the hotel manager was so friendly and helpful. Our first room had a broken bed. Our second room had no hot water. The hotel needs some electrical work but yhe staff was super friendly and did what they could to help, including allowing the family to shower in another room. Pool and spa were down until the day we left. Overall, wonderful stay.

Our stay was okay. We were disappointed that the pool was out of service but were assured it would be working when we will be staying the end of the month. Ice machine was also out of service.

The only reason we stayed here is because the other hotels were booked and they had a pool, oh but wait the pool wasn't working. The room was supposed to be pool side...nope, it was around the corner not even close to the pool. The sink in the room ran slow with yellow water, and the plumbing leaked onto the floor. There were stains all over the carpet (more than normal) The shower head was so full of calcium that it mostly sprayed outside of the shower! The area around the hotel was dirty and over all gross.

Dirty floors and pool - it was green (inside pool). Pigeon feathers all over the floor. Looked like pop had been sprayed on the walls. Air condition made loud sounds all night.

Conveniently located near the railway station and restaurants. Large open atrium with breakfast bar and pool - would be great for family reunions or other gatherings. Staff very responsive and helpful. Under new management since last year.

We always stay here when we go back to McCook. This used to be the Chief. The prices are good, rooms are decent - though sometimes, they overuse the cleaning solutions. The pool table is gone so we were disappointed. The best feature is the large gathering space near the pool. The breakfast used to be amazing with eggs and biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, and more, but now is just bare bones so most of us go somewhere else to eat. The service was great and we appreciated being able to stay in the common area a little longer to play cards with our large family - there for a funeral. And, the manager rescued a kitten not long before we arrived and my mom ended up taking her home. She's happy and healthy and has made my mom so happy! Thanks for being so kind!
