Beautiful and unique rooms and facilities. Great history. Staff at reception desk very friendly and made us feel welcome every time. However, several staff members at breakfast did not greet when we or other guests arrived and replied goodbye only after we had addressed them first. There was just the leftovers of the birchermüsli left when we came, and there was no refillment even though there was plenty of time left (we came around 9 and breakfast ended at 10). This was a shame because the bits that we could get from the birchermüsli tasted utterly delicious.
Apart from this not so great breakfast experience we loved our stay. This castle truly is a unique hotel and most staff members are very friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and uniquely decorated. We recommend this place to anybody who is interested in history and unique experiences.

Leider haben wir erst 1 Woche nach Buchung erfahren, dass direkt vor dem Hotel Baustelle ist. Ansonsten ist es eine schöne Unterkunft mit sehr leckerem Essen. Die Sonnenterasse und der direkte Seezugang waren trotz super Wetter leider nicht begehbar.

Das Hotelpersonal ist äußerst zuvorkommen!
Leider ist in 50 m Entfernung eine sehr große Baustelle, auf der zwar der Hafen und Straßen renoviert wird, was wirklich schade ist. Auf dem Zimmer hab ich davon nichts gemerkt, nur als ich drum herum spazieren wollt.

Old castle converted to hotel with restaurant and located right on the lake. Very unique rooms with quiet accommodations. The hotel was able to change from one day to the next my accommodations because of unexpected travel delays. Friendly staff and helpful.

Sehr schönes, altes Hotel.
Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und auch im Service im Restaurant SEHR freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Hotel ist schön Älter, weshalb natürlich nicht überall alles Perfekt sein Kann.
Aber alleine die Lage direkt am Wasser ist schon ein absoluter Traum.
