doesn't reach to 2 star, ignore staff , receptionist don't speak English, basic rooms, every thing you see is broken and dirty, room bad basic, wouldn't recommend for family with kids, only good thing about this place is close to Haram. so over crowded lifts you have to wait at least 10 minutes to get a lift.

This so called hotel is absolutely the worst. Everything is stained, from the carpets to the bedding. And every floor smells like mildew, mold, and rot. The elevators look like they are going to break down and are never cleaned. They also take a solid 20 minutes to get to you or skip you entirly. Bedding does NOT get changed in between guests. All our bedding and rooms had stains everywhere and mildewy carpets. The bathrooms have a 1/3 glass door that lets the shower flood everything. If a tour group or travel agent recommends this hotel, do not go if you value your physical or mental health. The staff are miserable and the manager is very rude. This hotel is more of a motel. Its a disgrace to Madinah.

I am profoundly disappointed with the nightmarish experience at Golden Tulip Al Ansar Hotel during our Umrah stay from December 13th to 18th, 2023. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were assigned rooms already occupied by male guests, who were smoking, exposing my Mother, Wife, and Sister to an unsafe and terrifying situation. Replacement rooms provided were disgusting, with unclean conditions of the carpet, bedding and bathroom. It seems like the receptionist were just handing out room keycards without checking if the rooms had guests, which is an unbelievably unsafe practice. Despite lengthy complaints, the hotel only offered suitable rooms after much persistence. However, our peace was short-lived. Within 12 hours, Mr Amid, a vile aggressive staff member, insisted we vacate our rooms, falsely claiming we had booked for only one night. Despite my attempts to clarify and request a check under my name, he adamantly demanded our eviction, even threatening to involve the police. This heartless behavior caused my mother to cry, an unjust burden during a sacred journey. Regrettably, Al Hadi Travel/Polani Travel, our travel agency, failed to provide effective on-ground support in Saudi Arabia. Communication was limited to phone calls, accommodating UK time, and their inability to resolve the situation promptly added to our stress. I strongly discourage others from choosing Al Hadi Travel/Polani Travel for their insensitivity and incompetence, and will be posting a review soon. Only through the intervention of a compassionate outsider did Mr Amid reluctantly check under my name, revealing our valid reservation for the entire duration. No apology was extended, and the replacement rooms provided were unsatisfactory, featuring uncleanliness and a lack of basic room service. This appalling treatment, coupled with the unhygienic conditions, prompts me to label this as the worst hotel experience. I vehemently discourage others from choosing Golden Tulip Al Ansar Hotel and would rate it zero stars if possible. Mr Amid's callous behavior is inexcusable, and I hope he is held accountable for his actions by a higher power. Note: The attached photo of Mr Amid is provided.

Bad experience, cleanliness is non-existent, the staff’s treatment is the worst possible. When you ask, I will come back tomorrow. I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom. It is one of the worst places I have ever entered in my life. I do not recommend trying this hotel at all. If you have to, sleep on the street and do not sleep in this hotel.

A failed hotel in all respects. The only thing special about it is that it is close to the Prophet’s Mosque and nothing else. It has endless problems. First: Their network is very, very, very bad. Second: If we want to call customer service or for inquiries, we do not get a response and we are forced to go downstairs to solve our problem. Third: Poor organization inside the hotel, specifically at the elevators during prayer times, and there is no organization inside the corridors. The hotel even. Fourth: They do not have a way of dealing, especially if there is a mistake on their part. It is normal for the employee to come to your room and threaten to expel you from the room. Fifth: The poor design of the suites and apartments, especially the bathroom, may God bless you. Even if I enumerate the problems and faults of the hotel, I will not be able to conclude why they give 4 stars. I don’t know. I would never recommend this hotel to visitors if they want real comfort
