1. First of all a kind request to the IT personnel to take the picture of an elephant out from the webpage as they don't do elephant safari or bath anymore due to the government restrictions as we were told upon arrival which is okay but misleading as our main reason to stay at Sarang Wildlife was Elephant bath. 2. Staffs are inconsistent in terms of service and very unprofessional. They do not provide any information until last minute neither do they provide a consistent answer for a simple question. Answer varies from person to person. 3.We stayed for 3 days but we're never asked if we wanted our room to be cleaned, neither extra towels or a bottle of water were provided. Which I believe is a basic thing. I left a pool towel in front of my balcony towards the entrance the day we arrived, It wasn't removed from there until our day of check-out. The thing is they are not interested to listen nor acknowledge your requests.They just want everything to get done even though the service standards are not met. This is very sad. It's not a 5 Star hotel, neither are we expecting a 5 star service but a basic hospitality etiquette is lacking in this sanctuary. Restaurant seems dead with no music at all; Instead treating us with kitchen staffs random loud discussion that was so loud that we had to tell the server to stop them. We do not want a discotheque but a light music wouldn't hurt anyone's ear 4. Dinner is fine but the way they serve it , wow it's a Big NO. The management should provide a proper training to it's staff as guests are paying almost $80 a night and being provided the same service one would expect in a highway near motel. 5. The only thing good about this place was its pool where we spent most of our time. Also the room is clean, spacious and cozy. We did canoeing which was beautiful followed by sunset. Expect for these the whole experience was a disaster. Sarang Wildlife would not be our preference next time unless the management provide the basic hospitality trainings to its operational staffs. 6. When we thought what could go wrong they presented wrong bill and tried to cheat us. First they added 10% service charge but we were told that only 13% VAT was applicable. Then they charged us for all our dinners but we were on MAP plan (dinner was already included). This was the limit 👎 and No MANAGER will be on site you assist you even if you ask for one an hour or 2 early.
