Behind is the big waterfall and in front of the old hotel with the lake. The restaurant is not very good, but it is convenient. There's no need to come here on purpose. Passing by can live.

You can drive into the hotel. The road is relatively narrow. There is an access control card on the last section of the road. Finally, I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for the password. Regarding the up and down of the cable car, sit for a while, hotel guests are free, you need to show your room card, remember to watch the timetable, don't miss the last bus. The view of the restaurant is very good and the service is attentive, but the food is as bad as ever, oh, I am not saying that this hotel is bad, I mean that all restaurants in Switzerland are bad (this breakfast is very good, you can go early, choose Facing the location of the waterfall, but the dinner is really hard to describe), unpalatable is one thing, full of ritual, each dish is served slowly, come up to explain to you what raw materials are used in this dish, how to make it, and if you actually taste it All restaurants in Switzerland, including but not limited to this one, are lacking in color and fragrance. My wife waited for the desserts to be served and hurriedly retreated. She panicked and forgot to take the bag. There is one thing to say, the service is still very good, the waiter put the bag at the front desk. Rory talked about it in a long way, hoping to be useful to the tourists behind.

The service was good, the breakfast was delicious, and everything was good except for the inconvenience of transportation. I think it would be nice to have transportation after 4pm.

Absolut etwas vom Besten was es gibt. Man taucht in eine andere Welt ein und spürt wie dieses Hotel lebt und viele Geschichten zu erzählen hat. Geschweige vom einzigartigen Standort oberhalb des Brienzersees und direkt neben dem eindrücklichen Giessbachfall. Die Küche und das Personal sind hilfsbereit und einfach top. Übrigens der Pianist in der Barlounge war einfach nur oberste Liga. Herzlichen Dank, dass so ein Erlebniss heute noch möglich ist!

Das Grandhotel Giessbach hat mich in jeder Hinsicht begeistert! Das Hotel pflegt einen Luxus, den ich annehmen kann, weil viel Kultur, viel Wärme und Freundlichkeit darin wohnen. Ein Klavierspieler trägt zu einer angenehmen Atmosphäre bei, wie schön doch Live-Musik zu geniessen ist! Die Abwechslung der Essräume hat mich sehr angesprochen, alles ist so schön gepflegt, mit viel Fein- und Taktgefühl. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat für wirklich jeden etwas. Als Veganerin schätzte ich u.a. die New-Roots-Käse. Was mich besonders freute: Die Duvets im Zimmer sind Schweizerqualität und sind ohne Lebendrupf! Bravo! Es stimmt bis ins Detail! Ich danke Ihnen für so viel Wertschätzung den Tieren und unserer Umwelt gegenüber!

Altehrwürdiges, wunderbares Hotel an traumhafter Lage. Die Zimmer sind authentisch und die Betten bequem. Das Personal ist liebenswürdig, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war fein! Was wir hingegen seltsam fanden, dass man jetzt für ein weiches Frühstücksei Fr. 3.-- extra bezahlen muss, das passt irgendwie nicht zum Stil dieses Hotels und kommt etwas kleinlich daher, schade! Es ist immer ein spezieller Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder!
