In februari 2022 boekten we een overnachting op 22 juli bij B&B Sterckxhof in Meise. We zouden hier overnachten nadat we van het concert van Ed Sheeran kwamen en de dag erop een dagje Brussel. Een verjaardagscadeautje van mijn vriend. Er is een bushalte kort bij de B&B dus ideaal om tot aan het Koning Boudewijn stadion te geraken. Op 7 juli kregen we een mail van de B&B dat ze bij de overname van de B&B contracten hebben overgenomen waarvan ze niet "wisten" wat ze inhielden. Eén hiervan was dat de kamers allemaal geboekt zouden zijn voor gasten van Tomorrowland en dus ook het weekend van 22 juli. En daar stonden we dan. Geen kamer meer. Zonder boe of ba. Op één van de drukste weekends van de zomer. Een verlengd weekend, Gentse feesten, Tomorrowland. Alle goeie adresjes zijn volboekt en wat erover blijft is verschrikkelijk duur. We bleven achter met één en al teleurstelling en onbegrip. Geen goed woord over de service van deze B&B!
