Golden Bay International Hotel

Every time I visit, I prefer staying at this hotel. It's located right by the Meijiang River, offering a beautiful environment. You can take a stroll along the river in the mornings and evenings, and there are even some fitness facilities along the way where you can play ping-pong with the locals. During check-in, they proactively upgraded my room. The second-floor restaurant serves local dim sum and specialty dishes. Overall, the service is excellent.

Check-in was quick and easy at the front desk. The bed mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm. Plus, there's an outdoor swimming pool and it's really convenient for getting around and sightseeing. Overall, a great stay!

The environment and location are excellent, with unbeatable river views. Even if you don't have a river-view room, there's a sightseeing elevator. The service is attentive, though some facilities are a bit dated, which aligns with the style expected of an older five-star hotel. It was the perfect choice for our one-day trip to Meizhou.

Right next to Meijiang River, the scenery is quite nice. However, the room type is a bit old, and there's no bathtub in the room, which needs improvement. During the Chinese New Year, there were no dining options nearby, but the hotel restaurant was open as usual.

The room was great, and the service was excellent. I really loved the overall environment, especially the river view. Breakfast was also decent. It's perfect for tourists, and I'd definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, and the staff are warm and courteous. There's an outdoor pool with a comfortable water temperature for this weather. It's really great value for money.

It's incredibly convenient for transportation and has the best parking facilities. While it commands a 5-star price, it definitely delivers 5-star service. The male receptionist provided excellent, efficient, and accurate service, checking us in exactly as per our booking notes. Room service was prompt, delivering requested items quickly. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the service was top-notch. The security staff were discreet but attentive, providing thoughtful and personalized service throughout our stay. In fact, every hotel staff member we encountered was polite and offered service with a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
