My husband and I decided to do a staycation here. We only live 30 miles south. My husbands band played here on Mothers Day and we really liked it. The lobby is very clean, rooms are very clean and no carpeting in the rooms, which is a must for me. They have nice amenities with a gym, starbucks in the lobby and a snack bar too. The tiki hut is really great with many tables to eat outside and the gazebo where the live bands play is great. We weren't able to go to the beach due to crappy weather, but did use the pool. Bartenders last night were great, and all their staff was too. Our only complaint was we were not told that when using a 3rd party booking agent (we redeemed points) the breakfast was not included. We went and helped ourselves to next to nothing and was charged $17 each. Such a waste of money, but now we know. Lesson learned. We parked our car right in the front lot and got a valet parking slip, but our car stayed there all weekend in the spot I parked it in and was charged $20. I could have parked across the street for free. No biggie, but still. between breakfast and parking, I could have saved myself over $75
