It was a lot better than I expected. Clean. Felt safe unlike sketchy place across the road. Bed was actually pretty comfortable.

The surprise $100 deposit on top of the room already being paid for wasn’t planned and thank goodness we had extra. Otherwise the front desk lady was super sweet. Also, the area makes you question your decision to stay here but thankfully the room and office had been remodeled so it was ok. But we went in and locked the door and we survived.

This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a convenient location and quality room. I've stayed here a few times, I highly recommend it for the discerning budget traveller.
The cleaning staff does a great job with the rooms, and they are prompt and courteous if you need something. I love the ease onto the expressway, and close proximity to food options. I often take walks around the grounds and it is lovely.
There is also truck parking.

Do NOT book Room 146. It is next to a room that has no number on it. Our room had a stale food odor in it. Later an odor came wafting through the door adjoining us to the next room. We believe they were cooking over there. It smelled like a spicy Indian food and it made it very difficult to sleep. When we checked out, we reported it to the hotel clerk. She assured us that they were not an extended stay hotel, so nobody would be living and cooking there. We wondered if maybe a maintenance worker lived there, since no number was on the door. But they pretty much blew us off. The hotel room was reasonably clean, but the floor was dirty. We would not stay there again.
