Sehr schön und großzügig eingerichtetes Zimmer. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und konnte bei allen aufkommenden Fragen weiterhelfen. Der Preis ist für das was man bekommt definitiv gerechtfertigt.

Gros chantier coller à l’hôtel qui commence a 7h du matin à la disqueuse et aux marteaux burin qui fait trembler tous les murs , la baignoire était fendu en deux impossible de prendre un bain , le frigo complètements givrer qui fessait un bruit infernale obliger de le débrancher , la chasse d’eaux casser , heureusement que nous somme rester que une nuit…

Because we discovered after check in, in the following morning, this hotel was located right beside the construction site, our stay resulted in an unrelaxed one - nigh**are, due to the big noises and powerful vibrations through the floors & walls of our room, from very early morning till late. Trip customer service staff were friendly and tried to help us but the hotel manager was untruthful by refusing to admit the poor quality of our stay. She said the hotel management was not to be responsible for the noises and it was out of their control although there were plenty of vacant rooms on the other side of the hotel buildings, which were supposed to be less affected by the construction, activities, but it seemed that we booked through Trip.com at a competitive price and our room was allocated in the most affected section of the hotel building. Rooms and other facilities were dusty due to the construction activities.

An enjoyable weekend break at Solana. The place is well positioned in the center of Mellieha to explore the town, v. nice view from the rooftop (attached a pic) that they also highlight as instagram-worthy. I rated the location 4/5 because of the relatively minor difficulty to find close-by parking as you need to be careful due to limited hours, but I learnt after that the hotel offers limited parking spots against payment. Cleanliness and service both rated an excellent 5/5. The facilities were good, again they didn't merit a 5/5 only because of a couple of small issues: you can experience a relatively long wait for the 2 lifts (used by guests and staff) at peak times since the hotel consists of two connected buildings, the gym needs a spruce-up as the multi-use machine needs a good oiling and the treadmill's arm cushions easily came unstuck, and the rooftop pool water was slightly murky on Sat afternoon and Sun morning. Other than our studio apar**ent was a comfortable fit for a family of 4, that included a well-equipped kitchenette that we used on the second night when the kids fancied an evening in after a long day. And nice to see once again the old-school complimentary sewing needle and thread, as well as a good sized bathtub. Tea and coffee freebies were present in abundance in the room. Breakfast was delicious and they certainly got the bacon, sausages, eggs, pastry and yogurt right.
All in all, a well-priced worthy consideration if you're staying in Mellieha.

Amazing luxury suite room! With complimentary water, wine and fruits. The view of the city and sea from the room was great. The terrace was huge! We had a dinner at one of the hotel restaurants and enjoyed it a lot, had a couple massage at nataraya spa done by anoop and Paulina - it was very relaxing. One of the best massages I have had so far!
The rooftop pool is a plus, however it was really hard to find a spot to lie down as it was full of people, we ended up spending our afternoon sitting in a chair rather than actually sunbathing. Overall, great experience!

Séjour réussi , chambre très grande dans le deuxième bâtiment, au 5e étage avec vue sympa . Le personnel est vraiment à l’écoute pour toute demande, et très accueillant (mention spéciale à Dawa au restaurant et un des managers de l’accueil ) . Bon emplacement géographique et buffet très correct.. roof top avec piscine très sympa ainsi que le bar .

Wunderbares Hotel, sehr sympathischer Service dank Dawa, rundherum gelungener Aufenthalt in Mellieha. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Spa Bereich und der sehr hilfsbereite Rezeptionsbereich. Echtes Highlight ist das Rooftop Pool mit bester Aussicht.

The hotel is located in the north part of the island, in Mellieha. Right in front of the hotel’s entrance there is the bus station. My stay at Solana Hotel & Spa was amazing, the room was incredible, the hotel so clean, all the staff is polite and professional. The breakfast buffet is full of choices, and everything is super delicious. The reception is willing to help 24/7 and always gives you a warm & welcoming smile! The nearest beach is 1.9 kilometres away, 10 min by bus or 25 min walking, there you can find also sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach there is sandy and clean as well. The Nataraya Spa is an unforgettable experience that everyone has to try at least once! I had the deep tissue massage with Stefan, At the start of the massage he asked me if I had any medical issues and if I had tried other massages before. During the massage he made sure that the pressure was ok for me. It was the best massage! He really knows what he’s doing! I highly recommend Solana Hotel & Spa for your vacation in Malta. I already think to return back soon!☺️
