Hotel Riu Palace Oasis

Highly recommended. Great hotel and staff.

We stayed here to celebrate my partners birthday and wow it could not have gone any better… where do I start…. On arrival, we were greeted at reception and then shown to the bar area where we can relax with a welcome drink of Cava. I had arranged for a cake and bottle of cava in the room and that was spectacular, thank you. Room - The room we stayed in overlooked the pool by the beach exit and wow was was blown away, the views were amazing and the room itself was fantastic (the shower especially was amazing). The room is made up each day and the cleaners all do a wonderful job. Bars and Restaurants - The food in the main buffet is delicious, so much choice and was a great atmosphere. Sitting at the bar in the day time and evening was brilliant, the drinks were lovely and all served with some tasty snacks! Staff - I could not talk any more highly of the staff, the staff all work so hard and provides everyone with extremely fantastic customer service, the service provided by all staff was out of this world, all so friendly and attentive, you make the stay extra special. Facilities - The facilities in the hotel are fantastic, we visited the gym a couple of times but a morning run along the beach front was fantastic. Entertainment - The entertainment was good, there were a couple that stood out - Jerrymaker, Motown and tonight there is Tina turner which we believe will top off the stay!

If there was one thing I would improve on this hotel it is to get another British channel! I cannot rate the hotel,cleanliness,staff,quality of food and choice high enough, it’s been a fantastic experience for our stay and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, it’s our first time in Gran Canaria and the hotel is situated on the extremely busy beach area but don’t let that put you off as it is set well back and is peaceful and quiet. The beach itself is huge and is immaculately kept, access to the beach is private and the door is operated by using your room key. I’m not writing anymore as I would be here all day…do not hesitate to book this hotel…and we will definitely be back. Well done Riu staff

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff are extremely attentive. I visited in November for some winter sun and we opted for a swim up room. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and there are shops nearby. The food is fresh, tasty and good quality. I would definitely come here again!

Drinks are not included with dinners, no mosquitoes! Had a fabulous week in this hotel on a half board basis Pros: Food is good, there’s a variety and a great choice for everyone. Great staff and service, everything is spotless, rooms are super sound proof, towels are changed twice a day, rooms are cleaned really well, mopped every morning. Pools are not overcrowded, we always managed to get sun beds. Direct access to the beach, security by the door, very well kept gardens, small but well equipped gym, loads of bars right next to the hotel and there’s a shopping area. No mosquitoes in the area Cons: During dinner water and all other drinks were not included. Krystal restaurant has rules of wearing pants for men. There’s another restaurant called Botanico, you must book a week in advance for both. To be honest, we were very happy with the buffet, so kept eating at buffet restaurant
