I stayed at Lopesan Baobab Resort in Gran Canaria for just one night, and I have to say, I wish I had booked longer! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient, making check-in smooth and stress-free.
The African-inspired decor is stunning—lush gardens, wooden bridges, and waterfalls create a tropical paradise vibe. My room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed, plus a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area.
Speaking of pools—there are so many! The resort has several pools, some heated, and even a lazy river. I only had time to relax by one, but it was well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available.
Dinner at the buffet restaurant was great with plenty of variety, though it was quite busy, so I’d recommend going earlier to avoid the rush. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, with a huge selection of fresh food.
If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the resort is huge, so it takes a little while to find your way around. Also, drinks at the bar were a bit pricey.
Overall, for a short stay, this place was fantastic, and I’d definitely come back for a longer visit!"

Absolutely stunning hotel! It literally took my breath away when I walked in. The staff are all amazing and so friendly. The rooms and the grounds are incredibly clean. The pools are stunning (there are busier and quieter ones so no lack of options at all). The beach and shops are a few minutes walk away. The food is spectacular! There’s something for everyone: shows, sports, pools, shopping. I just can’t give this resort enough praise!! We will definitely be back.

The price is ridiculously inflated; the hotel seems to have spent all its money on the public areas, which are impressive and have a great atmosphere. The rooms are on par with 800 RMB resorts in Southeast Asia. For this price, there are no double sinks, no smart toilets, and while there is a bathtub, there are no bath salts. The pool is beautiful, but there's no water bar or towels available; you have to bring your own. There isn't a single drop of free water in the entire hotel; you even have to pay extra for water at the restaurant's buffet, which is quite shocking. Secondly, regarding hygiene, food wrappers are left uncollected from morning till night in the seemingly beautiful public areas, and there are food wrappers and stains in the sofa crevices in the lobby bar. The breakfast selection is limited and the food is unappetizing, but considering the limited supplies on the island, it's somewhat acceptable.

The room is good, but a little far from the elevator. The hotel is large and has complete facilities, including a swimming pool, buffet, fitness center and bar. It just takes a long walk.
