The Harboro Hotel

Visited for food many times since my last review be it on a night out or on our way back home from the train station. The food as always been of great quality and plentiful, I've never manged three courses yet due to the size of the mains. The choice of drinks are particularly good with some decent draught options. Whether eating in the restaurant or the bar area the service is always polite and efficient. As always, we will be back again.

Reasonable ⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel in centre of Melton Mowbray. Clean rooms and friendly staff with bar and asian grill. Free parking and located to a number of local restaurants. OK for a short business stay and priced accordingly. The mattress in my room probably needs replacing the feel of the springs coming through Otherwise OK

A well looked after hotel with great staff that are happy give great genuine service Breakfast was brilliant even though we were late getting down they looked after us well including allergies and double checking to make sure they understood 👍😀

Popped in for a quick pint and found the Guinness to be good as usual. However, the barman showed a great skill of actually not talking at all during the ordering process. “Guinness please” which was subsequently poured, cash machine then brought over, then swiped and I left. Not seen him before so maybe some customer training required 🤔.

A lovely overnight stay, warm and very clean room. Very welcoming, good atmosphere. Did not eat but food did smell lovely. We made requests regarding the room which were accomodated. Far more character than a Premier Inn. Happy to recommend, thanks for a smashing stay.

This was our second stay in this little gem of a hotel and this time we brought our friends with us. We all had the best time! There is nothing not to like about this hotel. Its location is perfect to access the town centre and all amenities. The rooms are small but perfectly functional, with everything you need for a cost effective and extremely comfortable stay. As soon as you walk in you feel the warmth of the welcome warm and the vibrant atmosphere. The staff team are all so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble and the service is excellent. The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced for what we had. I can highly recommend the Goan fish curry and the cocktails are superb! A lovely hotel, it’s not posh and it’s not pretentious, which suited us to a tee! Looking forward to the next time.

Excellent restaurant and bar. Superb food at great prices. Attentive staff. Great Indian and English menu. Love coming here with friends. Never disappointed. Highly recommended. Booking advised as very popular.

If you want a quick tasty and value for money indian meal then you can’t beat the Harboro Arms. We use the pub quite a bit early doors have not been disappointed with the quality of food. The staff are very friendly as well and so would recommend to anyone. A thumbs up from us 👍

We have stayed here before a good few years ago, the bar are and restaurant has been done in a very stylish way, Rooms are a bit dated but clean and ok. Breakfast was very good although a little wait as the chef was late
