Aloft Memphis Downtown

It's in a great location for downtown, and the bed is very comfortable. But that is all I can say nice about this hotel. They nickel and dime you for everything or maybe I shoud say 10 and 20 doller you for anything. The hallway on our floor wasn't vacumed while we where there and it sure needed it, our room had a smell that bothered my wife and made her eyes burn. They came in and sprayed something for the smell and told her it was probably a cleaning solution, the smell didn't go away.

We've stayed in different Aloft properties before. The only thing I can find fault with was the front outside. The driveway was dirty and could use a power washing. Also the landscaping looked sad and uncared for. There was a back bar missing in one of the elevators. The front desk was very kind and helpful and the room was lovely as always.

Cardriana is an exceptional bartender and a tremendous asset to Aloft. Her presence behind the bar was impressive she managed everything seamlessly while staying fully engaged with every guest. I genuinely thought she was the manager. The drinks were outstanding. I’m particular about my Old Fashioneds, and she made mine perfectly. I also watched her prepare several other cocktails like a lemon drop and an espresso martini with ease and precision. It’s clear she has a strong command of specialty drinks and knows exactly how to balance each one. My only suggestion would be to keep the bar open later on weekends. Aside from that, my overall hotel experience was great. The room was clean, comfortable, and the location was ideal.

Lifetime Platinum Elite business traveler. Stay in at least 50 different Marriott properties per year across the country. This is one of the best, cleanest and nicest Alofts I've stayed in. My room was on the 12th floor - larger than typical Aloft rooms, very clean with a decent sized work area. Good gym - Top Golf simulator (yes you heard that). Don't hesitate to stay here at all. If you're looking for Westin amenities, you won't have that here, but as I said...very nice Aloft. I will definitely be back.

I ended up not staying because I didn't know about the 100,$, security deposit I had to pay before I can get a room, I was so sad when I went to check in and couldn't get my room because I didn't have the money.i didn't see nowhere in the app before booking that let me know this,I was so disappointed and embarrassed .it was a horrible experience for me.so I lost all ways.

My girlfriends and I came for a girls/bday trip. Many asked us why we were going to Memphis of all places! We believe there is a gem in every city and we were so RIGHT. Our stay at the Aloft was 11/10 stars. From the moment we checked in, Kayla at the front desk gave us the widest smile and went above and beyond to help us have the BEST trip EVER and she delivered! The GM also elevated our stay by providing us with the best room and amenities! Back to Kayla, because I want to recognize her for being such a fantastic staff member. She greeted us as we came in and out and asked us about our dayy. She even generated a list of things to do for us during our stay. With her outstanding customer service, our stay at Aloft was made even more amazing. Another person I want to recognize since I believe people should be called out is Christopher. Christopher greeted us on his first day meeting us at the breakfast table. He gave us a tour of all the wonderful amenities. The rooftop bar was the best! During our stay there Christopher went above and beyond to make our experience the 11/10 stars that I gave. He “threw” our bff a birthday party on the rooftop that she/we will never forget! Thank you Aloft and all the wonderful staff! ESP Kayla and Christopher!

Party of Six in Memphis was memorable for many reasons, one of them being our stay at Aloft. Kayla had us at “HELLO” with her welcoming gleaming smile. She was so sweet with a list of suggestions, from where to eat and all the site seeing options. And another of our FAVE was Christopher, he is what I would consider going above and beyond to make a guest feel at home. Christopher went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and that we were always having a good time. When we come back to Memphis , we would definitely stay at Aloft again.
