Big Cypress Lodge

Jeffery was a great help today and helped make sure we were able to get into our room, including getting us new keys. He has a great personality and I appreciate the help with customer service after traveling for hours. Will definitely come back!

The hotel was amazing! Rooms were very clean, view of the Bass Pro Shop was a nice and unique touch. The valet drivers were very nice and quick. We decided to use the shuttle for dinner and Jeffrey with the shuttle company was amazing! He made our ride a fun experience and was beyond sweet. Thank you so much Jeffrey for adding to our experience! Everyone that we interacted with was super nice and helpful.

We have enjoyed the sky high elevator and the observation deck. We ate at wahlburgers and got some bowling done at fish bowl. The shuttle was very nice to the FedExForum. The room was nice and quiet!

My family of 4 (kids aged 9 and 5) had an amazing stay at the Big Cypress Lodge! We were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially Jeffery, one of the porters. There was so much to do that we never left the pyramid. Between roaming the aisles of Bass Pro, bowling, checking out the animals, and eating, we were never bored! Plus, it was so relaxing rocking on the balcony after the store closed. It was a magical experience my whole family will remember!

This was my second time staying here and will be my last. It was not as expected based on my first experience. Overall cleanliness was less than satisfactory. We noticed the same pieces (and bags) of trash in the halls that remained throughout our stay. We asked the front desk simple questions that no one could answer. We walked to the third floor lounge to order food during their open hours and they said that it would be 45 minutes until the guy that could take our order would be there. The TV had okay choices of channels but would cut out frequently. We stayed three nights and paid $131 for parking/fees. Our second day we started incurring charges on our credit card for $533 on top of the $131. The front desk was no help as to tell us why we were being charged that. Our credit card company ended up filing it as fraudulent activity and freezing our card because these charges were not authorized by us. All the front desk would say is that it came from corporate even though they couldn’t even see the charge on their end. To be listed as soundproof, it was far from that. We could hear everything from the halls to the rooms next to us.

The Cypress Lodge was a breath taking experience. My wife and I stayed here for a fun, safe, and exciting getaway. I would like to just start off this was exactly how we felt. Everything was nice, the staff was over-the-top with any calls, changes, or questions we had. Room reservations was easier than putting a needle in a haystack. The room availability has various options, we went for the interior balcony view which was a spectacular sighting of the whole establishment. Excellent shower and tub size no complaints rooms were nicely prepared, hot water on demand. The staff let us know the bar was open and kindly pointed us to the correct hallway did not have to use the map it’s a huge resort so help was appreciated. Went for drinks at the exterior bar for the beautiful sunset and view of the city, huge round fire pits friendly and accommodating for guest to socialize if they please. This is was the seller for me, sadly I missed the Marshmallows at the front desk but this fine-friendly person overheard me asking about them and called the hotel to bring some for my wife and I. I honestly couldn’t believe it so glad because this was the experience I was hoping for my wife. Her words exactly, “ Babe this is so awesome and beautiful thank you for today”. To be able to say even the guest at the Lodge are amazing and friendly, this is a big yes for me when it comes to choosing were I stay. The a**osphere and vibes are just right. The hotel staff, Managers, and employees at the Bass Pro were more than welcoming, I highly recommend staying here and trying out all the activities available. We had so much fun, even thought we didn’t get to try all the places and activities I recommended the stay. Well be back for sure!
