When exploring Memphis (Beale st) I was elated to stay right in the heart of downtown Memphis. I was able to enjoy and stagger to my room without worry. I highly recommend.

It’s ridiculous that you have to go to the lobby to pick up your own towels if needed. Also, why can’t I just call and say to please clean the room everyday. Instead, I have to fill out paper just to get my room clean.

Great property and staff. Safe parking with clean elevators. The room was great. Plenty of room and outlets. The balcony would have been enjoyed more but the weather was not great. We will come back and enjoy it when the weather is better. Very short walk to Beale Street and the Fed Ex Forum.

I’m surprised about all the excellent reviews. This is hotel is ok at best. Average. It’s not excellent in anyway except maybe early check ins. Front desk staff is a little courteous. Breakfast staff are naturally rude/blunt and don’t really have good manners. Elevators and rooms are well beaten without significant repairs. Room service is every two days which they don’t tell you when you check in (at least in our case) Rooms are very small Overall, it’s a hotel that should be 100-150 per night at best.

So me and my wife got stuck in the elevator called front desk to notify them was put on hold had to hang up and call back none of the emergency buttons work at all finally we had to call emergency services to get us off the elevator still haven’t heard from management staff isn’t trained to handle that type of situation and the overall lack of compassion is beyond belief

The front desk attendants were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner, we ate at the Blues City Cafe, yum! The room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. There is a small rotunda area to unload your car and a parking garage right there for $21/nt. The breakfast was nice with plenty of options and the attendants there were also friendly and helpful. A very nice stay!

I'm a long time Hilton/Hampton fan. The rooms here are up to Hampton quality. The front desk and all staff were cordial. Location is outstanding. BUT. This is the most inconvenient hotel I have ever been too. Only one working elevator, the stairs are through the office, storage room and the laundry only accessible with an employee. The parking garage is separate building with it's own elevator. I have no plans to ever EVER go back to Memphis

The blurb on this hotel said recently renovated, I dispute this as the lift was at least 25 years old, 1 has been waiting repair for a month so getting up and down was a very slow business, the washing m/c in the guest laundry was out of order, and despite the fact that it isn't cheap it is very much a budget class hotel. On saying that the service and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
