Germantown is very close, the town is quiet and comfortable, suitable for a short stay on a business trip
There are Target and Panda Express on the next road

Let me start off by saying the hotel and rooms were recently renovated and were nice. The service is another story. We were checked in by a very nice man who was in the middle of checking in a huge group of meeting goers, and was very patient when I finally got up to the desk, and upgraded us. We were not part of the group. After that, all front desk personnel had an attitude and couldn't be bothered, except for a woman named Kay. We were there 3 nights, and room was never cleaned, towels refreshed or trash taken out, even upon request. When asked front desk person for more towels, we were told each of us could only have 1 towel when asked for more. I called the manager after our checkout as she was not available at the time, and shared our experience. She kindly offered us Hilton Honors points which have not been received a week later. Also, my phone calls to her have not been returned.

I was there for a business trip. When I booked a doubled bed, I was not aware that microwaves are only in the suites. This posed a major inconvenience for me because of some diet restrictions and I was not able to warm up my food nor was the microwave in the lobby available after 10am.

The hotel is under renovation, so the comforts and extras we are use to at other Hampton Inn & Suites were not available. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was well stocked with lots of options.

First - This hotel is being renovated. You're not told that when you book. Check-In was problematic. There is a sign on the front door which appears to point to the other door. In reality, both doors are locked and you have to enter from a side entrance. I was not asked if I am a Hilton Honors member (I am)
The room appeared to be nice. However, the water in the shower barely gets warm and doesn't stay warm. The sink does have hot water. There will be a problem here since that shower was newly renovated and they will need to get into the plumbing to fix the problem.
I like coffee in the room. While there is a coffee maker, the coffee pods don't fit the brand of coffee maker in the room.
Breakfast was the highlight of our stay here. The area was pristine and everything was outstanding. Kudos to the woman who made it that way!
