Wingate by Wyndham Memphis East

Acceptable but probably would not stay again. I wanted outside of Memphis town area to make it easier the next morning away from traffic. Well, it is away from just about everything, in a questionable area. Once inside, it wasn't too bad. Desk receptionists were friendly & helpful. Rooms were ok but not the cleanest (see pics) & walls in bathroom were a bit beat up. A/C unit was a bit unpredictable. Breakfast had a good variety. The lady servicing that area was friendly but could hardly understand her strong accent. For a 'disability assisted' room, there were some odd placements of aids. The shower head was higher than the curtain & hit high on the opposite wall. No way you could stand under it (much less sit under). While it was removable, there was no handle to hang it on the height adjustment bar. You had to hold it in one hand while trying to lather up with the other. Thankfully, we weren't too affected by it but wonder what the ADA would think about it.

Sounds like we’re staying next to a drag racetrack. Loud cars all night long. Poor climate control in suite. Freezing in bedroom and feels like a sauna in other room.

The pillows and bedding was super soft and comfortable. They offered hot breakfast. OMG! Biscuts and sausage gravy was delicious. They also had Eggs, sausage, bacon,pancakes, bagels, cinnamon rolls, cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice. The staff was awesome. Very welcoming.

Best stay I have had in a long time really enjoyed the stay and the staff was excellent… good little complimentary breakfast too…I like the recently updated rooms and the service again was great only issue is I wanted too watch some sports and could not find sports channels active but who needs sports when your in Memphis.

A very nice surprise! The rooms and building are immaculate, the beds very comfortable and the staff exceptionally nice. The included breakfast is superior to others with a wide selection both hot and cold. While other properties nearby are less expensive, we felt this was worth a little extra.

Amazing stay! The soundproof rooms and included breakfast made our trip memorable.

Great stay, staff very nice and offered to help in anyway. Love the atmosphere during a very stocked breakfast bar which included scrambled eggs, sausages, very good biscuits and sausage gravy, and bacon!!! Fruit and bread pastry along with cereal and a variety of yogurt !!!! This loaded breakfast is done well !!!!! Very nice experience will return
