Days Inn by Wyndham Memphis at Graceland

Far away from what shown in pictures. Although they are remodeling it’s still not clean. Breakfast was just waffles, coffee, orange and apple juice. Pro’s: Very close to Graceland

I have just spent 9 days here on my own. the room was lovely and had been refurbished . The staff are lovely especially the more mature lady at the front desk she is a true asset to the company. I had every think I needed in the room wifi was excellant , there is no breakfast option at this moment of time but it was not a deal as there are plenty of places to go. I even went to wallmart and got some bits to microwave. I felt safe being a woman on my own hope to come back thank you x

This was the second time I stayed here. Six years ago the hotel was in need of maintenance. We had heard that it would now be renovated, but nothing could be further from the truth. The rooms have been partly modernized but the rest of the hotel is in very poor condition. The stairs and hallways were filthy and damaged. The door of our room had a large gap, which caused us to be inconvenienced by heavy traffic. Swimming pool looked dirty and not maintained. There was 1 small bench to sit on. Furthermore, nothing around the pool. It was very quiet in the hotel which was not pleasant. We had booked four nights here. Our room was not cleaned once. We went to the reception to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The breakfast room was out of order and seems to have been that way for months. It has one plus and that is that it is a 3-minute walk to Graceland. In any case, this was the last time in this hotel for us.

Booked and paid for breakfast but found that the owner had ripped out all of the kitchen and dining facilities as part of a remodel before Christmas. The remodel hasn't progressed since then and staff don't even have a bathroom so use one in a vacant room (how is this cleaned afterwards?). The reception area of the hotel is a mess now and the sensor for the front door doesn't work so you have to knock and wait for reception staff to let you in (hoping that they're not in a different building using the bathroom whilst you're outside in the rain).

Was 30 minutes early for check in and staff were very rude and unaccommodating. Had to sit in the car in the parking lot until check in time. Room was OK although bed is mattress on a metal box which made a horrendous sound when you got up and down on it. Lobby and kitchen were undergoing a refurb so although when you book it states you get breakfast and coffee, they are unable to provide this, and will not offer a refund of your cost to compensate for this. Currently disputing charge via credit card company. Pool also has a lock on the gates so unable to access Doesn’t really feel the safest of areas Only real positive is that it is within stone throwing distance of graceland. Would definitely not recommend a stay here,thankfully we were only there for 2 days

We grabbed a room there as it was right next door to Graceland. They must have been undergoing renovations at the time as there was a bit of work going on at the property, but as a result we ended up with a freshly renovated room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we were after.

There were no plastic cups for drinking water, or whatever. The ice machine was encrusted. There was nothing to drink (soda, etc.) on property. There were no grab bars in the tub/shower. There was no shower curtain. There was no toilet paper holder. There was a space under the door, for creatures to come in. I slept in my clothes. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but left the next morning. A very unpleasant experience.
