This hotel covers all the basics but with no frills. Comfortable bed, very large room, although the bathroom is small. Adequate lighting, enough space to work, and a walk-in closet. The breakfast buffet is very basic, meaning no waffles or pancakes, and it was the same every day while I was there. Staff is friendly and helpful. There’s a parking area adjacent to the hotel, although I did not need it. The hotel’s location is very convenient. It is a five minute walk from the convention center and a very short drive to Beale Street and other attractions Memphis is well known for. I recommend it for a business trip, but not necessarily for a family trip.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of Beale Street and the Peabody Hotel (which was what I wanted to visit). There is a small outdoor pool and you can see the Mississipi river from there. Breakfast was average, but OK. There is underground parking, which as in all major cities, you have to pay for. All I all a great stay in Memphis.

Staff are really friendly. Breakfast is good - was a nice surprise to be included as I didn’t realise. Nice touch with hot water and free drinks in reception. Also has a shop next door and vending machines in the hotel. Check in was easy. We had a room on floor 14 (15 stories in total). Nice that this hotel doesn’t charge city tax and the only hotel we have stayed in so day that didn’t even charge a holding deposit. Nice outdoor pool on the 9th floor with towels provided. Only thing missing for me was a room safe. We only stayed 3 nights but our room was only cleaned once in that time which I thought odd but no drama to us as we are tidy anyway and not staying long. Location was great - 10/15 minute walk one way down Main Street and you’re in Beale Street or the same distance the other way and you’re at the big Bass Pro Pyramid which has a good observation deck on the top floor (with a bar and restaurant). Would definitely stay in the hotel again.
