The hotel is very well located for an exploration nearby. The room was clean, good beds and everything was minimally available except a small fridge. Coming from Singapore for 5 days to visit my family and friends, I stayed at this hotel (even I was invited to sleep at my brothers or my mom homes), for the comfort ans it’s proximity to the center and all facilities. The hotel is very well situated, very clean, nicely decorated with pictures, old sewing machines and fabrics machines as the hotel is a conversion of an old fabrics factory. The bedroom was big, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast has a large variety of delicious dishes, don’t miss the Belgian gaufres (waffles) and the abbey cheese. The hotel staff is very kind and professional. There is a car park and a place to park 1 or 2 tourists buses. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, but there are 4 hairdressers in the area that will make your shampoo and blow dry for 20 €. Just next to the hotel, enjoy a drink at one of the terrasses on the Grand-Place, eat a cake or a dessert at Pierre-Alain ( one of the best in the world) , eat Belgian specialities at La Cloche (rue de Tournai) , try the famous real French fries with mayonnaise and fricandelle (street food on the Grand-place) and buy local food on the market every Tuesday mornings.

Stayed for a week, the location is rather partial, suitable for car owners, enough parking spaces. In the last two days, the central air conditioner was frequently turned off, and the air was extremely high...

Voor het werk bleef ik in dit hotel 1 nacht slapen. Het hotel is zowel langs buiten als langs binnen zeer mooi. De kamer was heel ruim, net als de badkamer. De badkamer was proper en uitgerust met een groot bad. Achter het hotel is een feestzaal waar op dat moment een fuif van meer dan 1000 Franse studenten aan de gang was. De vrouw aan de balie vertelde dit want anders merkte je hier werkelijk niks van. Alles was zo goed geïsoleerd dat je geen overlast had van de fuif of van het privéfeest in de kleine zaal onder in het hotel. In de lounge kan je iets te drinken bestellen, dit is wel vrij duur, Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader als je in Wevelgem bent,
