Without a doubt, accommodation at Foresteria Planeta is simply incredible, not just for its location, but mainly for the uncompromising beauty of its facilities, comfort and exceptional service... in addition to its fantastic restaurant, but that would be for the next review!

We booked 3 nights as a relaxing wine plantation stay after completing a 9 day cycling trip in Sicily. Perfect location for our exploration of the southern and western parts of Sicily. Highest marks for staff and accommodation as well as food. Easy car access to surrounding sights. We also booked 3 nights at their apartments in Palermo—also a treat in a modern apartment well equipped and on border of central city. Used their guide planner as well for an excellent half day walking tour of the city to get our bearings and for suggestions of what to see on our own. Check their website for details.

If you love silence immersed in splendid countryside and vineyards with sea views...this is the ideal place...refreshment for the soul...Excellent genuine cuisine. Beautiful discovery...we spent 3 days in total relaxation... ..immersed in nature..we will be back... thanks Marco and Teresa

I had tried to book a night here but it was full. Fortunately I looked a few weeks later & they had a room. Stunning views done to the sea. Our room opened onto a herb garden with the view behind. The infinity pool was most welcome in 30c weather. We chose the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairings and each dish was beautifully prepared and delicate tasting. We couldn’t decide which course was our favourite. They accommodated our son who just wanted a la carte. Hospitality was friendly & courteous. We should have stayed another night.

This is the seventh time we have stayed at Planeta. As always everything excellent. The location is splendid and guarantees tranquility and maximum relaxation. The staff is friendly and always available. Congratulations to the pastry chef Alessandra who creates excellent fresh cakes in the morning for breakfast, improving the only critical aspect of the Guesthouse. The new Insula Beach Club on Lido Fiori is excellent for location and comfort. Very large, it guarantees you an oasis of tranquility compared to the beach which, being public, is quite crowded. Catering is generally of an excellent standard with prices appropriate to the standard of the structure.

Nothing to say about the quality and the wonderful location. For these aspects 5 stars. But 88 euros for an aperitif with cheese seems really excessive for anyone. The cheeses were typical of the area, but the quantities were truly paltry. We soon have a 35 euro bottle and two "boards" with cheeses

Visited in August 2023 having visited 10 years prior- it is a fantastic spot with great views and lots of things to do in the local area. The pool is fantastic and having the beach club is a nice added bonus- we spent 2 days down there and enjoyed the food and ambience. In terms of the hotel - most of the staff were great and really helpful but a few front of house staff members were surly and honestly a bit aggressive with the sales pitch for having dinner or doing cooking classes etc. They ask you ‘what time you will join for dinner’ rather than ‘if’. We enjoyed our meal there but we didn’t feel we wanted to stay in the hotel 24/7 and enjoyed going to other local places- but when you say you’re not saying for dinner they are totally disinterested and a bit rude. It soured the stay a little bit but honestly it’s a great hotel with great location and the wine is fantastic. If you can deal with the hard sell then it’s worth it.

Lovely position into the vineyards of Planeta. Very professional staff, attentive to the detail! Food experience at restaurant was excellent! Not to mention the breakfast (all local products and above all fresh orange juice! A variety of delicious dishes, well thought! My suite had a good view on the country. I found well projected and organized also the service at the Insula beach!
