Our host was incredibly friendly and the breakfast was marvelous.
A wonderful place!
Only small gripe - it is a very old house and the walls and ceiling are completely transparent to sounds… so can be a bit noisy depending on who is your neighbor.

We loved our stay at The Ballard House. The hosts are so hospitable and the breakfast is outstanding. The beds were very comfy, as well! We hope to return again!

Bernadette is fantastic, she is so kind and is so accommodating. The rooms are cozy and it felt like home. I can’t wait to visit Meredith again to stay at the Ballard House Inn!

We highly recommend the Ballard house at Meredith new hampshire. It is situated close to Meredith Center. Probably a 5-minute Drive. The Inn owner, Bernadette, greets you with a warm smile at the door and provides a tour of the cozy Inn. On the main floor there are two living rooms to relax in with fires; one of the rooms holds various board games like cribbage or Uno cards and books to use ; A large dining room with a scenic view of the mountains in the distance and finally a first floor bedroom available if you want to skip using stairs. The second floor has several bedrooms to select from. Each one has its own private bathroom. There is fresh water, coffee, tea, available at any hour. The nice draw that we like at the Inn is the delicious breakfast that is included with the stay. Check out the attached photo. Yesterday's breakfast included a mixed fruit cup with pineapple and strawberries followed up with Bernadette's famous recipe for lemon blueberry pancakes. This included wide cut bacon... cooked to perfection. Of course you can pour all over the pancakes real, fresh maple syrup. Check out the Ballard House Inn in Meredith New hampshire. You will not be disappointed.
