Motel 6 Mesa, AZ - North

Learned my lesson. In fairness to the brand, I’ve stayed at other Motel6 before but never had a bad experience up until this one. Room smelled like smoke as soon as I opened the door. There’s “No Smoking within 20 feet” signs at every door but there’s also cigarette butt receptacles right outside 🤷♂️. My original room had what sounded like a big dog next door that was barking the entire time I was in the room so I requested to be transferred. The replacement room was a little better but after a while, the smell of smoke was present again. Could not get any sleep because of the smell. Thank goodness we only had a night to spend there. I immediately cancelled my next Motel6 booking and did not want to take the chance again. There were plenty of parking, may be the only good thing.

There is nothing more than a bed and a couple of very thin towels.  The area does not seem safe and the hotel has not taken measures to provide security and adequate light. I would not stay here again.

It’s in a convenient location, but it is extremely sketchy, but it comes down to an extremely afford price.

Just used this as a place to stay for about 6 hours after a long flight. Beds were comfortable and it was clean.

Front counter was really knowledgeable, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and exceeded or expectations for comfort and peaceful atmosphere.

As soon as I opened the door, the room smelled bad, like they don’t really clean. Smell “went away” once I got fast food delivered and that changed the smell. There were noises all night, people running upstairs and loud music. There were empty beer bottles abandoned around the pool and pool looked gross too.

Absolutely have nothing bad to say at all. Customer service here is the absolute best.
