American Executive Inn Mesa

This would have to be the poorest hotel we have ever stayed in for $170. Does America have no standard or regulations that need to be upheld.?

New owners in the place and the regular receptionist has a dismissive attitude. Some rooms are quite nice and it’s a good deal but be careful, the ‘price’ starts at $44 but after taxes etc it sometimes becomes $75. It used to be about $52 but now it’s at least $62 no matter what the initial cost said. The last room was awful: clogged sink, floors dirty, the door could only be opened by the staff, apparently the key cards didn’t work so you would need to see the receptionist to enter. But other times it is nice.

It was nice and clean and very quiet but the water gor the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold there was no inbetween

Just off near downtown Mesa. Rooms are not huge but good if you're spending the night. For me the beds were the best part. Sunk into both in the different rooms I was in. Not the over plush or brick hard beds...just nice comfortable sheets and a...good bed. Honestly, didn't feel like I'd laid in a bed like this since I was a kid. I want one!!

The room itself wasn’t horrible, however, there was what looked like food left on one of the night stands and one of the overhead lights and 1 lamp didn’t work. The toilet was not secure so every time we went to the bathroom it was wobble and the shower head was tilted at a weird angle with little water pressure and not a lot of hot water, mostly luke warm at best. Over all it was okay.

Great place to sleep too. Beds are clean. The air worked good.

Floor was dirty. Someone else’s hair on pillow- I’m bald. Disgusting bathroom. Hole in bathroom ceiling and no vent fan. No smoke alarm. Room was labeled no smoking but reeked of smoke. Worst room I ever had. Stay east of county club road

I have absolutely no idea how this place is up to any code, the door would barely close. The walls were falling apart. There was hair everywhere from the place before actually disgusting.
