Very good value. It is located in the center of messin, so is a 10m walk from the main station. Signing in was a bit confusing as there was no one at the door to let me in, but a number was provided so I called and I was let in. My room card was already premade in an envelope near the entrance, so I didn't need to do anything further. Only bad thing is the drinks in the fridge aren't free and you will be charged if you drink them.

It took a while to book in as there was no one at the front desk. We were told we would get instructions but nothing came through. Otherwise the room was great, although extra pillows would be a bonus and close to everything

Inizio dai lati positivi: personale gentile e completamente disponibile. Il vero punto di forza dell'Hotel. Posizione centrale. Colazione discreta, con scelta tra dolce e salato. La hall ha dei divanetti minuscoli ingombrati da cuscini anneriti, e quindi non ci si può sedere. Il vero dramma è la camera. Il letto è corto (ed io non sono certo uno stangone) e senza topper, manca un armadio e c'è solo un appendiabiti a vista con qualche gruccia. La doccia è incrostata, prova di portasapone, e la pressione dell'acqua non è costante, cosa che di per sé non sarebbe un problema se non fosse che quando arriva il getto più forte l'acqua diventa gelida, quando la pressione si abbassa diventa bollente. Il WiFi c'è ma è così lento da essere inutilizzabile, e l'accesso è tutt'altro che intuitivo. Capisco che il palazzo è vecchio, ma molti dei problemi sarebbero facilmente sistemabili se la proprietà decidesse di investire qualche euro per la manutenzione. Se avete bisogno di un punto d'appoggio economico per un paio di giorni può anche andar bene, a patto che si abbia grande spirito di adattamento. Altrimenti, meglio lasciar perdere.

Arriviamo in hotel e nessuno che ci accolga alla reception. Bisogna citofonare e la scheda della camera è dentro una bustina con tanto di cognome e numero di camera. Giusto per la privacy! Struttura desueta e poco pulita, soprattutto il piatto doccia. Almeno l'ABC! Io e il mio compagno scendiamo per la colazione e chiediamo se fosse compresa nella modica cifra di 54€ per una notte. Ci viene risposto di no e che, se vogliamo dobbiamo pagarla extra. Affamati, decidiamo di sederci e consumiamo 2 mini cornetti vuoti (più duri di un mattone), due monoporzioni di fette biscottate una marmellatina, un caffè e un thè. Arrivati alla reception, dove finalmente troviamo vita, chiediamo il conto e la signorina, dopo essersi accertata (di non so cosa) con la signora che serviva in sala colazioni, mi presenta, con la sua bella faccia di bronzo, il conto, alla modica cifra di 21€, di cui 16 per una colazione misera, che al bar avrei pagato 5€ e 5€ di tassa di soggiorno. A mai più. Peccato non possa recensirli con 0.

The night-time telephone availability system without reception does not work. No one answered the many phone calls asking for help to enter the hotel since the key did not work. If another guest hadn't arrived with a working key we would all have been left out at night in the rain. Room worn bathroom micro Breakfast is saved I will look for other accommodation next time I cannot recommend it
