I want to thank Bobby for assisting me with my stay. He showed excellent customer service, he is very funny , and very attentive. He always greets with a smile and this company needs more people like him. 10/10 visit and I will definitely be staying again

I’ve been coming to the Hampton Inn in Metairie for about 9 years now for work. The reason is because of excellent customer service. Bobby at the front desk has the GREATEST costumer service skills around, and his attitude and attention to detail is one of the reasons for my return. ALWAYS willing to go above and beyond!

Staff is very caring and always full life. Always Greeted with a smile. Rooms are nice and clean. Love the new upgrades. Nice gym, pool area is my favorite. They make everything easier on you. From checking, to directions if you’re going out on the town.

I will say up front that the front desk staff was very nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Once it was time to sleep, the property was quiet, and I slept soundly in a comfy bed. However, this property needs some general maintenance and some updating. The carpets in the hallways were heavily stained, and guest room doors were covered in scratches, black and gray luggage marks, and dents. It was more of the same once I got into my room. I’m pretty sure the carpet was stick-on carpet tiles that were stained in many places, the ironing board hanger had been ripped out of the wall and not replaced, the shower had moldy/mildewy grout and caulk, and I was worried the toilet wasn’t going to flush. The toiletry bottles looked like they’d been in an auto shop for a couple years, as they were squished and marked up with I guess hand grease? Idk. This place wasn’t awful, but it needs some maintenance and upgrades.

The beds were terrible, the AC barely worked (didn’t cool below 74), and there was no parking for a trailer. We booked 3 rooms and all were the same.
However, the location was good and the area safe.
