I really enjoyed our stay here. We hired a trullo with some friends but arrived a few days early, so we needed a hotel for a couple of nights. Cala ponte was not overly expensive and allowed us to book for two nights (many required a longer stay given it was high season). We arrived late in the evening just after the kitchen closed, but the very kind and helpful staff got us fed (we hadn’t eaten since the morning). Our room was spacious and clean and new with a great shower and comfortable (for me anyway - I prefer a firm mattress) bed. We spent the next morning exploring Polignano a mare and the afternoon at the amazing pool - really beautiful, not crowded. We left the day after and the staff let us hang out at the pool even after check out. Really great stay and lovely staff especially the manager of the restaurant and his team - thank you!

Relaxing stay away from the chaos of the city. The only negative note is the restaurant, during breakfast I found a long hair in the fruit salad, although I have short hair ... I notice that the staff responsible for administering food products do not have a headgear. To improve the quality of the croissants, not very fragrant and with a dry consistency. The pasticciotti instead are too soft, and not very fragrant, taken for 3 mornings in a row, same quality. During lunch I was served some very ripe pineapple, with a sour taste and hot as a temperature. Some types of fruit are served cold, otherwise it makes a better impression not to serve them, or uses the other as an alternative. The restaurant has some significant flaws, to be reviewed. Plus slow service during lunch, with only 2 waiters.

Appena arrivati in struttura, abbiamo apprezzato l’esterno, in particolare il boschetto e la fontana. Lo stile è rustico, i muri sono in pietra, molto accoglienti e curate le sale. Quello che non mi aspettavo da un posto del genere è stata la camera. Ho scelto la suite san Tommaso, in teoria la loro migliore opzione. Appena sono entrata ho avuto subito la sensazione che la camera non fosse stata pulita adeguatamente, c’era dello sporco visibile sulle superfici e sui pavimenti. Inoltre abbiamo visto un paio di insetti morti, di cui uno nel letto. Può succedere ma era più di uno e mi aspetto maggior controllo e attenzione in un hotel da 4 stelle. La colazione non era nemmeno eccezionale, le torte esposte sapevano di confezionato. Non ritornerò sicuramente.

Corte altavilla is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Conversano( BA). A perfect mix of history and relaxation. They have the most friendly staff and delicious food. My fiancé and I stayed at one of their most ancient room and hit their spa which they gave us the best massage and body scrub. Highly recommended and we definitely will come back.
