Hotels Near Putignano San Pietro Piturno in Metropolitan City of Bari

This is a really tired and dated hotel by today's standards. Externally it looks great, but internally it is very basic. A few details about our room; Hardly any plug sockets Air con either on or off (no options) Wifi wasn’t working in bedroom, only reception/dining room (Room 206) TV not working. Asked twice - fixed 2 days later. No wifi so no Netflix etc. Noisy fridge all day/night Shower jets don’t work but instant hot water Other points; Very basic breakfast - don’t expect eggs of any kind! Remote location - a car is essential All staff speak very limited English, if any No one at reception Sunday evening or at 7am next morning. The breakfast guy took 1/2 hour to check us out due to the language barrier. Swimming caps needed for hotel pool €4 each from reception Best bits; The restaurant was amazing. Fabulous food and wine. We were given free 5-course meal on arrival (drinks not included). Lovely pool. Gets noisy though when the local kids arrive. Suggestion for hotel; Provide some guidance for international guests in the form of a small booklet (in a few languages) in each room.

Struttura accogliente e pulita, camere minimal però complete di tutto e confortevoli quanti basta. Munite di aria condizionata. Posti auto limitati, tuttavia se al rientro doveste trovarli tutti occupati sarà sufficiente chiedere all’host il quale vi consiglierà dove parcheggiare gratuitamente ed in sicurezza (area privata) a pochi metri dall’hotel. Colazione nella media, buffet fornito il giusto in corrispondenza del prezzo pagato. Le camere vengono pulite tutti i giorni e gli asciugamani sostituiti. L’unica pecca è che le camere sono poco isolate tra loro e quindi si sentono molto ti rumori degli altri ospiti, soprattuto doccia, quando chiudono le porte oppure la televisione. Soggiorno comunque gradevole, consigliato!

I do not usually write reviews but feel compelled to write one about this wonderful hotel, having just returned home from a two-week stay there. First of all, Noci is a perfect base for a holiday in the beautiful region of Puglia. While it is certainly easiest to have a car to get around, it is possible to do so (as we did) by public transport (train and bus) and transfer cars (there are surprisingly no taxis in the town). The hotel is right in the heart of the beautiful town which has a choice of wonderful restaurants, cafés and bars within easy walking distance and some shops and lovely old streets to happily lose yourself in for a few hours. Noci feels a really authentic and special experience of life in a small southern Italian town: by day, the town is fairly quiet and certainly unspoilt by tourists and by night, Noci is lively with locals out for a meal, a walk, passing by the hours with friends on a bench in the central piazza, having a delicious gelato or stopping to listen to one of the many free concerts in the piazza or park. The hotel is almost next door to a great pizzeria, full of locals, which has been there for fifty years, and is a few doors away from an amazing gelateria with an array of delicious flavours (and friendly staff) and a lovely deli. There is park across the road and a church at the end of the road. We managed to fit in memorable day trips to 12 other towns in Puglia, all of which had their own unique charm. The hotel itself is lovely - the rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was great (a good selection of pastries and cakes, breads, eggs, a selection of cold meats and cheese, yoghurts and some lovely fresh fruit). What I most wanted to write about though were all the staff at the hotel who went over and above to make our holiday so special. A massive thank you to all of you for the many little touches you added throughout our stay with you and for always being so kind and friendly: Giuseppe in the breakfast room was always kind and perceptive and kept the water for our tea piping hot and always put a special plate of fresh fruit (delicious apricots) on our table each morning as he knew we loved them! Sonia cleaned our rooms beautifully every day and always had a lovely smile for us. Flavia and Francesca went the extra mile, finding detailed bus and train routes for us and organising transfers so that we could see all the beautiful sights in Puglia and made us feel as though it wasn’t any trouble, even though I am sure it must have involved lots of work. The lovely man on duty at night was always friendly too. And saving the best for last, the wonderful Giovanna who is in charge of the hotel. What can we say?! We travel a lot around the world but no one has ever gone to so much trouble for us as Giovanna - what an incredible leader of a brilliant team. She took customer service to a whole new level - some small examples and I know there are many more, she made it possible for us to have the most

The bb is located in a beautiful gentleman palace, well maintained in the centre. The room was wide and comfortable. I just advised to put new anti-slide on the steps leading to the shower, for greater safety. As a further advice, perhaps more important, is to put double glasses in the windows, to insonorize the room, because it feels all the night movement and the subsequent cleaning of the early hours of the morning. We found this baby accidentally I have to say we found very good. That kind boy who answered us at the phone and then welcomed us at our arrival. Extremely spacious room is very clean. Super breakfast made in the bar under Jerome with cappuccino and scream flirts 😋. Also very comfortable because the conventional parking 2 minutes walk is perfect. It will be our first choice when we come back to Bari. The only advice I give to the property is to have an additional eye on the maintenance and use of things in the room but really simple things. It’s a clean and well organised place with high ceiling rooms that are pretty inviting. Check in works via a link and requires a mobile internet connection for the first check in. That works well if you have a SIM card with internet access if not, then you should plan for it. We had a two room apartment for three people. The smaller room was a walk through to get to the bathroom. The bathroom looks newly renovated and was clean. The door is foldable though and very thin. The kitchen us shared with others and has some basic utensils (not for big cooking). The location is quite and rather central. So you get to the old part of town in ca 10 minutes and the central train station in 15 minutes.
