We had a wonderful stay at Piccolo - excellent staff who went out of their way to assist us with everything and a great location. The private terrace above the bay is a magic spot to relax at after a morning spent in Portofino.

Lovely hotel. Stunning vistas. Warm and friendly staff. Outstanding food for dinners and breakfasts. I stayed at this hotel in 1987 for my honeymoon and again in 1998 for our 10 yr anniversary. Coming back now - 25 years later - I had some trepidation — but it wasn’t warranted. It was actually better than I remembered.
Can’t say enough about the facility and staff. It was fabulous and worth every penny!!

Don't Even Think To Get Close To This Misserable Hotel With Manager Which Seems To Be Like That Guest Paying For Advance By Booking Com Asking To Cancle Their , our Booking Aftrer Getting Skretched And Feel Badly Just In The First Moment Entering The Recaption . All Our 2 Families Preferred Unfortunately And Without Other Choice To Leave The Hotel Without Our Pre-paid Money ...And With A Lot Of Sadness To Leave Portofino.

This hotel needs an urgent restoration. It is overpriced. The location and the view are great but the accommodation is very poor. The carpet in the room is old and faded, the bathroom is old, and the windows need paint. Looks like a good hotel 20 years ago but that has not been maintained in many years. The breakfast could be better and with more quality products.

Das Zimmer kostete 258 Euro,wir haben erst abends spät gebucht,vom Auto aus,da wir festgestellt haben,das im Dezember in der Cinque Terre alles geschlossen hat. Portofino ist ein Hotspot,aber die Preise dort sind aberwitzig. 11 Euro für ein Mineralwasser. 30 Euro für Spaghetti. Das Hotel ist völlig heruntergerockt. Farbe blättert in den Zimmern von den Wänden,es ist dreckig und die Möbel sind kaputt. Das Schloss der Badezimmerür ist kaputt und wir mussten tricksen,damit sie wieder aufging. Ein junger Mitarbeiter war sehr engagiert und hat wirklich versucht alles gut zu machen, alle anderen waren eher resigniert. Wir hoffen,dass der junge Mitarbeiter woanders sein Talent besser nutzen kann. Das Frühstück war Standard, die Möbel im Frühstücksraum,wie alles andere auch von 1980.Dreckig und kaputt. Die Lage des Hotels wäre traumhaft. Scheinbar zahlen die Leute aber,einfach um in Portofino zu sein.

Buongiorno siamo appena tornati da una mini vacanza. L'hotel è delizioso e ha una posizione meravigliosa e comoda soprattutto per raggiungere la piazzetta di Portofino. Cinque minuti neanche a piedi e si e' già in centro del paesino pieno di bei negozi e ristorantini. Il personale è gentile e simpatico e soprattutto educato e disponibile. Complimenti! Ottimo hotel situato a meno di 300 mt dalla piazzetta alla quale si arriva in 5 min. con una agevole stradina pedonale. Accoglienza eccellente, camera ampia e confortevole. Colazione continentale ben assortita. Cortesia e gentilezza da parte di tutto il personale.

Un bon choix à Portofino ou tout est très cher par rapport au reste de l’Italie.Belle situation face à la mer , petit chemin piétonnier pour rejoindre le port et le centre en 5 mn. Chambre 206 , en duplex et grande terrasse ( merci pour le surclassement) vue somptueuse sur la mer , la douche est petite et la chambre bien que confortable et vaste mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. Service parking et voiturier quasiment indispensable à prix correct 18 €/j Bon petit déjeuner , service sympathique. Belle crique devant l’hôtel avec plage privée et transats. Hors saison en octobre c’était très agréable d’y passer 3 nuits , belles randonnées dans le parc de Portofino, visite de Santa Marguerita et de Camogli à proximité.
