This hotel was one we were quite excited about in advance, but unfortunately turned out to be a huge disappointment right. We were told we would be met at the ferry and we emailed our arrival time, so we waited for ten minutes, but ended up carrying our luggage ourselves to the hotel, up A LOT of stairs. Everyone has said wonderful things about being greeted by Antonio and all the time he spent with them, but we were not greeted by him nor offered any pastries and espresso as many have mentioned. The person checking us in was friendly but busy & didn’t inquire about our plans nor offer any suggestions. The next day we asked for the great Antonio, but they said he had just stepped out, so we never did meet him. We paid 750 euros per night for a deluxe room, and it was VERY small. There was not room for both my husband & I to have a suitcase open at the same time. There was no sofa in our room, just a very worn chair. The shower was TINY, and no shelf for the shampoo so the only place you could place it was on the floor, but there was no room to bend down to pick it up without opening the door to the shower. The bed was not comfortable and the towels were very worn. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the toilet paper rolling every time our neighbors used it. We had a large balcony but it looked right onto a building. There were many smaller balconies with much nicer views so don’t worry about booking a deluxe room — the only deluxe thing is a larger balcony. The breakfast was decent though & the highlight of our stay — the coffee was great and the servers at breakfast were very attentive and kind, and the breakfast setting is lovely. Overall, for the high price, I am sure you can find a much better place to stay if you want to be at the Marina Grande area of Capri. Don’t waste your money at this place!
