Very convenient location, just a few steps from the train station. We are very happy with the hotel.

The service staff in the lobby on the first floor are very enthusiastic, friendly and speak English. They can quickly understand what passengers need. Thank you very much. It's really nice to be able to book a hotel so close to the station at this price, with a big and clean room. There is a balcony, a TV, a lot of cabinets, and the most important thing is a small kitchen where you can cook some simple meals.

Please, who are you trying to show your bad face to? Just charge the money, why are you shirking your responsibility?

Super rien a dire

The residence was easy to find and wasn’t far from the city centre, but was situated a stone’s throw from an extremely busy railway line and sidings. Checking-in was straightforward and the guy on Reception made a real effort to communicate in English. We paid for the room and for private underground parking @ 9 euros a night and we were pleasantly surprised to find how easy the access was to the car park. A word of caution though – we were in a long wheelbase Mercedes and we grounded on the ramp – could have been nasty if we had got more weight in the car. The car park had direct access to Reception and there were lifts to all floors. So far so good . On entry to the room we noticed immediately that there was a strong smell of damp and that it in no way resembled the photos on ***********. We passed through a miniscule kitchenette with a pedal bin backed by stained wallpaper, and into a bedroom so full of cobwebs that it was like a 1950’s horror film set. Spider webs in the corners, above the bed and at ceiling level everywhere. The main light shade was full of dead insects and one of the chairs was badly stained. Tops of the door frames were grimy and obviously hadn’t been cleaned this century. The main window had no security opening option so was impossible to have open without risking getting our throats cut whilst we slept. Being seasoned world travellers and familiar with second-class foreign accommodation we opted to make the most of it and chalk it down to experience, but our patience reached the limit when my wife had a quick shower and I followed to find that the water was stone-cold. Upon complaining to Reception we were told that ‘the rooms have individual water reservoirs’ and we ‘would have to wait two hours for the water to warm up.’ Unacceptable in 2022, as was the Receptionist’s suggestion that we could change rooms for an additional 100 euros. Faced with having to try to find alternative accommodation in Metz city centre at short notice during the Christmas Market period, we had little choice but to make the most of it. *********** were completely useless – said that they would speak to the hotel management but then came back to us saying that there was nothing that they could do. Ashamed! Deplorable state, desire to flee and unfortunately no way to change rooms. Unbearable smell of cigarettes in the room...bed and cushions impregnated with the smell, moldy grout ++ in the bathroom and shower, dirty shower head, sticky and dirty floor...and no way to ventilate properly. When I report the problem of smell, I am told that they can put bombs in the room without surprise (even though smoking is prohibited), that I must use the fan to evacuate the smell.. except that the latter is full of dust...the next day they explain to me that it's all the fault of the visitors who don't respect the rules. I'm not asking for great luxury but a clean room. Even taking a shower was repugnant to me...I strongly advise against it! And of course...no commercial gesture. Next time I'll sleep in my car rather than in this room saturated with cold nicotine where it was extremely hot.

Bonne hôtel la chambre est grande et spacieuse ce qui est agréable ! Proche du centre et à coter de la gare. Attention on entend le train mais ce n’est pas horrible. Bon petit déjeuner bien fourni ! Je recommande cette hôtel pour passer quelque jour à Metz !

chambre côté quais de la gare, avec tout ce que cela comporte d'incommodités: - les fientes de pigeon sur les vitres extérieures de la chambre - l'absence de volets et seuls des voilages et rideaux moyennement occultants et sales - les nuisances sonores: passage des trains de voyageurs, et de marchandises la nuit, ainsi que les annonces SNCF Par ailleurs, les nuisances odorantes liées à la cuisine confectionnée tardivement par certains résidents ont été très gênantes. Enfin, il n'y avait aucun débit internet possible dans mon chambre (mon collègue est venu le vérifier avec son ordinateur; il était au 3e étage où le wifi était accessible sans problème). J'ai signalé normalement ces problèmes à l'accueil, et j'ai été très mal reçu par la directrice, et un membre en particulier du personnel. Il m'a été dit, avec une posture et un ton autoritaires, je cite, "vous êtes mal tombée", "vous n'avez qu'à changer d'appart-hôtel résidence ou prendre un hôtel classique", "je ne suis pas technicienne des bornes de débit internet sur les toits", "vous voulez que l'on mette immédiatement un terme à votre séjour?", "les problèmes que vous signalez c'est selon chacun, chacun sa sensibilité et on ne peut pas la prendre en compte pour chacun de nos clients", "qu'est-ce que vous croyez, ici nous avons 130 chambres toutes occupées par des clients aux horaires tous différents" etc... Pour terminer, la salle du petit-déjeuner n'est pas du tout accueillante, elle est sombre, mal agencée, et le choix des aliments n'est qu'apparent, et vite limité dans la semaine, par exemple la boîte à sachets de thé reste à moitié vide, ainsi que le panier à biscuits, il faut faire avec ce qu'il reste, et le café de la seule machine est imbuvable. Et les photos des chambres/studios sur le site ne correspondent pas à la réalité, elles ne sont pas du tout reluisantes mais plutôt très vieillottes. La proximité avec la gare ne fait vraiment pas tout.

Séjour de 3 nuits dans l'établissement. Son emplacement est idéal à 5min à pied de la gare. Il est facile à trouver. La chambre est propre et calme au bout du couloir. Petit coin cuisine avec frigo. Lit confortable, placard, TV. Mais rapidement les désagréments s'accumulent. Il manque une serviette et une éponge pour la vaisselle. La chambre a bien vécu la salle de bain est à rénover. Les joints des lavabos et baignoires sont compléments usés, le mur est plein de traces et l'abattant des WC est même cassé. Vu le prix de la nuit et l'emplacement le rapport qualité-prix est correct mais il y a de petits travaux pas cher à réaliser d'urgence ! Personnel d'accueil tout juste accueillant, à la fin du séjour on dépose notre carte dans une panière sans que le personnel d'accueil cherche à savoir comment cela s'est passé. En résumé : établissement à fort potentiel mais mal exploité
